My mothers nose has turned bluish/purple only medical info found refers to Loopis. Anybody have an idea?
Q:Her nose looks like it is bruised. It is very strange - she is 69 and in good health considering she is overweight and a diabetic which she controls by diet. Her nose doesnt hurt but it is not very attractive. And she is concerned.

Have her doctor check her heart out. Sometimes people with heart disease or poor circulation have body parts that turn blue due to oxygen deprivation. maybe she likes t stick her head in the freezer.lol just jokin:(:)
Does she wear glasses? I found that the metal part of my glasses (which actually sat on the sides of my nose) was eroding which caused my nose (starting at the sides) to become infected. Voice your concerns to her doctor.
