A prescription can clear all that away, you need to see the doctor so he/she can write one for you.
eh, the smell is a sometime thing, usually you know to go to the doctors if you can smell yourself, and it dont smell right. i was never itchy though. Yes. You need to get treatment for it. Those symptoms will not just go away on thier own.
ewwww bv sucks i feel sorry for you, but i guess feel sorry for myself more lol...i had bv after i gave birth to my daughter and now after every single menstrual cycle i develop it again...and that's a common thing so good luck..i also have discovered that they now have a creme at my local pharmacy that you can buy to resolve the itching and smell until you can get to the doctors...although i didn't think bv involved itching? i didn't itch i just had a light odor that smelt sweaty..I'm always showering and bathing so i know its not from dirtiness..but to answer your question yes and yes...and if you are douching stop! or the doctor will not be able to detect it and therefore will not be able to provide you with the proper medication you need...i found that the gel works better then the antibiotics..they have lots available i guess it just takes trial and error to find the 1 that will completely keep you in the clear of this icky infection! good luck Hun!
with BV, you typically itch all of the time, and you will usually have a 'fishy; or other kind of stinky odor coming from your vagina. this will occur until you get an antibiotic from your doctor to treat the infection. once the antibiotic starts working and you begin to get rid fo the infection, the smell and itch will subside and you will go back to normal.
I think I'm going to be sick. I'm glad I'm a man.
