Can someone tell me if this is a good fan fiction?
Q: I write Gossip Girl fan fictions. But I haven’t written one in probably eight months.I just wrote one on Friday, but I feel it’s not good enough to post yet. I always have this feeling when I write a fan fiction and it’s driving me crazy! Can someone please tell if it’s good enough for me to post on fanfiction.net? If there’s any mistakes or you have any suggestions please let me know:). But please don’t be rude.Thank you:).Here’s the first chapter:(Oh, and by the way it’s in the future).Serena walked out of the elevator, as she held onto a small hand that belonged to the little girl walking beside her. “Mom!” She looked around the living room, before yelling once again. “We’re here!” Seconds later Lily came walking down the stairs wearing a short blue dress. One that even Serena thought was too reveling. “Oh, Serena. I didn’t even hear you come in.” “I guess I should have called before I came.” She replied, as Rufus came down the stairs wearing a black suit and a wine glass in his hand. “Serena!” She smiled, “Hi. Are you guys going out?” “Yes.” Lily answered. “We’re going out to dinner.” “Oh.” Serena said. “I guess you forgot that I asked you to watch Lizzy?” Lily stopped looking around the living room for her purse. “God, Serena. I totally forgot.” “It’s alright. I should have asked you earlier.” Serena said, even though she was disappointed. Dan and her hadn’t been out for dinner alone in months. “Dan and I can go out for dinner another night.” Even though this dinner was important to Rufus, he could see the hurt in Serena’s eyes. “Serena, you should go. Your mom and I will go out tomorrow night. You and Dan deserve sometime alone.” “Rufus- “Please?” Serena looked at her mom, as if asking if she was sure. “Go ahead. I shouldn’t have forgotten anyways.” She still didn’t look convinced, but nodded anyways. “Okay. If you’re sure.” “We’re positive.” Rufus replied, looking over at the little girl who’d been standing beside Serena the entire time. “Ready to have some fun with grandma and grandpa, Lizzy?” She usually always had something to say, but not this time. She just stood there bearing her face into her mother’s legs. “She’s just really tired.” Serena assured them. “She was up all last night. Dan suggests she might be getting the flu that’s been going around. So, I’m guessing we won’t be that long.” “Don’t worry.” Lily said. “Just take your time. She’ll be in good hands.” Serena smiled, “I know she will.” Then she turned to her daughter, picked her up and placed her on her hip. “How are you doing, sweetie? Are you feeling any better?” She nodded. “A little. But just a little.” “Do you want to go to sleep?” Elizabeth nodded once again. “Yes.” “Okay, baby.” She kissed her on the forehead, before passing her to her mom. “I love you.” The little girl mumbled out a I love you before putting her head down on her grandmother’s shoulder and sighing softly. “I’m sure she’ll sleep the whole time.” Serena smiled a little. “Just make sure you call me if anything goes wrong.” “Yes, I know. Don’t you think you and Eric had the flu as children? I know what I’m doing.” Lily chuckled a little, rubbing Elizabeth’s back. “I know. I’m just worried about her that’s all.” Rufus came out of the kitchen, with his hands in his pockets. “Like your mother said-“I know. She’s in good hands.” Serena laughed, rolling her eyes. “I should get going. Dan’s probably wondering where I am.” “Alright. Have a good time.” “Thanks.” Serena turned around and smiled before heading into the elevator.-Serena walked into the Brooklyn apartment, taking off her coat and shoes. Then she made her way to their bedroom, seeing Dan sitting on their bed. He looked up at her as she spoke. “Ready to go to dinner?”He didn’t say anything for a couple seconds, then finally he spoke. “I’m not sure about tonight.””What? What do you mean?””I’m feeling a little..sick to my stomach.” Dan said, not looking straight at her.”Oh, really?” Serena said, crossing her arms. She wasn’t going to take any of his crap tonight. “You seemed fine before I left.””I know, but-“Dan.” She said, interrupting him. “What’s going on? I know when you’re not telling the truth-we’ve been married for almost three years, let alone been on and off together since high school.”Fine.” Dan knew she didn’t deserved to be lied to. She deserved to know the truth, even if the truth was harsh. “After you left I went to go have a shower. I went into the washroom and started shaving. I must have looked down and my eyes caught a hold of a pregnancy test that was laying in the trash. I picked it up and it was positive. And I freaked out-and I’m still kind of freaking out.”Serena was surprised. She would have never guessed Dan would be freaking out over this. When she told him she was pregnant with Elizabeth he wasn’t thrilled, being thatYes.That’s what I need more detail:).I don’t really read the books, but I watch the show too.
A: I’ve never read GG (although I watch the show) but this looks good! A little bit dry of detail though, and some spelling mistakes (you said Lizzie was BEARING her face in Serena’s leg. I think you meant BURYING.
What do you think of my fan fiction so far?

A: I think you are off to a great start. You are good with dialogue, but put more description in between the talking. It gets boring just reading dialogue and visa versa. Keep going! Can you help me?http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AuTWkHCERBMmt2w.ohB.7iTsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20090503213724AAHlSsK
