What is wrong with me?????? Help me please I'm scared
Q: I'm a 14 year old girl. About a two weeks ago (not really sure if its related-don't think it is) I had a really bad virus in my throat- fever, horrible sore throat, chills, muscle aches, etc. and then it subsided into a cough and got better after a week. Recently (after the virus passed) I have had really bad diarrhea. Like it will wake me up because I am in so much pain and I have to go (happening for about three days now. The diarrhea seems to be getting a little bit better. But the thing that scared me the most is that every single second of the day I am so exhausted, like I feel like i could lie down and pass out any second. That just keeps on getting worse, I can't figure out if this is only because I am sleep deprived or because there is something wrong. Also, I often feel slightly dizzy, and like I am in a daze or a dream. My short term memory doesn't seem to be as good as it normally is, and I'm getting very scared. What is wrong with me????I also now need glasses (related?)Please help me, but don't scare me, I'm already worried enough as it is. Thanks so much(BTW I do have an anxiety and sleep disorder -insomnia- but never ever anything this bad. During the school year I get like 5 hours of sleep a night and I can still function just as well.)I just want to know if this is something that requires medical attention, or if it something serious. Thanks again
A: dont worry. You dont need medical attention. all those extra things you said arent related. its just the fact that u were on ver bad diarrhea which cause you to become dehydrated and that causes dizzyness and loss of energy. drink gatorade or something with electrolytes. Pedialyte helps, it is a drink for kids when they have diarrhea and are dehydrated, yes it is for little 3 yr olds and younger but football players use that to keep themselves hydrated during the game. It is normal, keep that and stay on the BRAT diet to lose the diarrhea, only Bananas, Rice, Applesause, and Toast. BRAT DIET AND PEDIALYTE!!!!!!!!!! best of luckk
Can you put this into a report?
Q: Im doing a report for my grade 7 newspaper and im the editor of the group and have to do a report on any subject that i wish. i have chosen to write about 'Swine Influenza'. I'll put my notes down and you should try wriing a report about it using these notes. no i am not going o use it. that is wrong, i just want to see what different things people choose to say and how to say it. here are my notes.-also called swine flu, hog flu, and pig flu-Swine influenza is common in pigs in the midwestern United States (and occasionally in other states), Mexico, Canada, South America, Europe (including the United Kingdom, Sweden, and Italy), Kenya, Mainland China, Taiwan, Japan and other parts of eastern Asia.[1]-People who work with pigs, especially people with intense exposures, are at risk of catching swine flu-Rarely, these strains of swine flu can pass from human to human-In humans, the symptoms of swine flu are similar to those of influenza and of influenza-like illness in general, namely chills, fever, sore throat, muscle pains, severe headache, coughing, weakness and general discomfort.-Swine flu is a type of virus-People do not normally get swine flu, but human infections can and do happen.-contagious-symptoms of regular human flu and include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue.-There are antiviral medicines you can take to prevent or treat swine flu-You can help prevent the spread of germs that cause respiratory illnesses like influenza by Covering your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it. Washing your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. You can also use alcohol-based hand cleaners. Avoiding touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread this way. Trying to avoid close contact with sick people. Staying home from work or school if you are sick. -10 deaths-we have no natural immunity to the virus-Experts say that the Swine Flu is no worse than the regular flu,-isn't to be compared to the black plague, or anything of the sort (like many news stations are trying to pretend it is).-The Swine Flu is just a different type of flu, but that's still all it is..-Always carry tissues - catcһing the germs іn а tissue could help limіt the spread of the virusCover your moutһ аnd nose ωhen cοughing аnd sneezing, using а tissue, throw the tisѕue awаy quicĸly and carefullyWash your hands regularly with ѕoap and ωater Clean hard surfаces (Ιike dοor handles and remote cοntrols) frequentΙy witһ a noгmal cleaning product-its not deadly unless ur old like really old, or a newborn childif you have added any additional details on the swine flu, please say.
A: Swine Influenza is a virus which is a highly contagious respiratory disease of swine caused by the orthomyxovirus. It was thought to be the same virus that caused the 1918 influenza pandemic. It is also known as swine flu, hog flu and pig flu. Swine influenza is common in pigs in the midwestern areas of the United States, Mexico, Canada, South America, Europe (including the United Kingdom, Sweden and Italy), Kenya, Mainland China, Taiwan, Japan and other parts of eastern Asia. Who is at risk at getting swine flu? People who work with pigs, especially people with intense exposures, are at risk of catching swine flu. The swine flu epedemic started in Mexico, where farmers contracted the disease. It is rarely, that these strains of swine flu can pass from human to human. That's a start. Your notes are good and with your notes its very easy to construct a newspaper article. I suggest that you mention how the influenza is mutating and you could also talk a bit about whats happening today with the virus. Swine Influenza has changed to "Influenza A" and this is what humans are getting. The flu is no longer swine flu, because it has changed and mutated. You could also state how the Swine Flu epedemic started, and that was in Mexico. Goodluck with the article. :)

A: I would say that your body has just fought of a virus and that it is extremely tired. They say when you have viruses (I just got back from the drs office to find out I have a cold virus too, Sore throat, stuffy nose, cough and headache.) that you need plenty of liquids and rest. If you didnt get adequate rest during your virus your body could be left extremely tired. Also the diarrhea is probably the virus also leaving your body. I also have an anxiety disorder so I tend to worry a lot which gets me to the doctors office for something as simple as a cold virus but if everything is subsiding then I would say you have NOTHING to worry about :). Stay in control and its probably just your anxiety making you worry. Just drink lots of water and its summer so it shouldnt be hard to get adequate rest. Thats your excuse to sleep in till noon!! :) If you are still worried its not going to hurt going to the doctor but if its a virus they may just tell you that you need plenty of liquids and rest. Good luck!
