Sandwich your workout - cardio, weights, then cardio again.Isometric exercises - push ups, sit-ups, etc. are always a decent mix of the two and usually require the whole body. Look for duration and not intensity when performing weights. Know your max weight, then work at about 60%. You won't be building muscle, but toning and burning fat moreover. It might look goofy for a huge dude using a 8# weight for exercise, but it's not a sprint, it's a marathon.

Q: I am trying to lose weight on a low calorie diet. I am pretty satifyed now at what I weigh but my stomach is not as tight as I want it to be. I run 3miles about 3-4 times a week and I walk alot to my classes. I eat great and drink alot of water. But I want to see results faster. A: swimming is a good overall body exercise, but if you want to focus on your stomach to hanging leg raises. hold onto a bar and lift your knees to your chest. if you are really good at bring you legs up extended. also just lie on the ground in a push up position for 30 second periods hold it and that tightens your stomach alot. hanging leg raises is more for the "6 pack shaping" push up holds are for tightening and helping keep your stomach tucked to your spine, know that you wont be able to see or feel a tight stomach until the fat around it is burnt off. the real answer to a tight stomach is doing lots of cardio and cutting off the fat

A: you'll have to do plenty of situps and crunches.i do these situps where legs are off the ground going up, and my knees are bent at a 90 degree angle. do situps and try to reach your knees as many times as you can..i think that it works!good luck!
