It all depends on your purpose. You will achieve a nice level of endurance if you eat properly and sleep enough. It is an interesting idea to focus for a few week on a compound exercise like push-ups, pull-ups or squats.

Tomorrow is the day im gonna talk to her for the 1 time EVER?
Q: OK so there’s this girl in school that has been staring at me, when she stairs at me and i catch her she looks away and turns red. I heard her friend tell her to walk up to him and tell him u like him but she didn’t cuz i guess shes shy. 1 day in the hall way she was with her 3 friends and they tried to push her into me so we can start talking but she turned away and laughed with her friends and was all red. She’s in grade 9 and im in 10. I never ever talked to her in my life i don’t even know her name so how should i approach her.I very very shy and shes always with her friends what should i do about that.I was planing on approaching her tomorrow and tell her if she would like to hang out after school with me alone and we can talk but what should we talk about??IM VERY VERY SHY!!!!!
A: Her friends seem very supportive. Maybe you could talk to one of her friends first, ask about the girl and when you could talk to her alone. Or you could put a note in her locker. A little bit old fashioned, but seeing as she obviously likes you, it could do the trick.
my push ups are getting harder?
Q: i started doin a push up exercise 44 days ago… i started day one with doing 1 push up wen i wake up, in mid day, and before bed…. day 2 i did 2 pushups wen wake up, mid day, and before bed… iwent on like this everyday.. increasing by one push up everyday, this morning i reached forty four.. wen i was reaching 34-37 push ups they seamed fairly easy, i would get tired at around twenty 5 push ups, then the last ten would be diffucult.. then few days later wen i got to 40,41,42 the push ups started getting more diffucult, instead of getting tired at maybe 30 push ups i would get tired at 25, and the last 15 seamed like hell… so basicly ever since i reached 40 and above i felt as if i am getting weaker insted of stronger… is this supose to happen? wat can i do to improve?plz helpthnx
A: Yes, it is suppose to happen. Your muscle is tearing a little bit every time you do the push ups. For you to continue everyday without giving your muscle any rest is bad for your muscle fibers. You will have a hard time improving, gaining strength and gaining tone. You need to give your muscles about 2 days of rest. To improve your muscle and continue with this regim, I suggest doing this every OTHER day, and do them in “sets”. For instance after your 2 day break do:3 sets of 12 every other day for 2 weeksThen take 2-3 days off. Then do 3 sets of 15 every other day for 2 weeksThen take 2-3 days offThen do 3 sets of 20 every other day for 2 weeks etc…..Once you reach 20-30 reps – try adding a 10 lb weight plate or a phone book on your back and go back down to the 3 sets of 15. The higher weight will provide more resistance for your muscle to build new fibers.GLuck!
Has anyone ever tried a full-body weight training routine and were your results as good as split day training?
Q: Of those of you that have tried a full-body weight training routine (i.e. doing one or more exercises for each body part during a workout and working every body part at least once), did you get good results? I typically do a push pull split where days 1, 3 and 5 are chest, shoulders and tris and days 2, 4 and 6 are Back, Bi-ceps and Legs but need to change my workout up and I’m thinking about going with a full-body workout plan where I’ll be supersetting and doing lots of compound movements to target my entire body. Has anyone had success with a full-body plan?
A: I’ve had limited success w/ full body workouts, i take my weight training pretty seriously, i train/eat like a body builder… although i don’t compete(a little to shy) To maximize my results i tend to change up my routine frequently…. push/pull, front/back, upper/lower…. there are endless possibilities… that’s why i rarely do the same workout twice. When i do full body workouts it’ll usually go for about a month… then my body gets used to it…and ill go back good ol’ splits. Super setting when doing splits works well to stimulate muscle fibers… when done w/ full body… it will mainly just boost up your heart rate….(unless you super set the same body part… which would require alot of lifts per workout)
