how long should i work out on the ab coaster each day?
Q: i want awesome abs, how long should i work out on it a day?
A: The Ab Coaster is a new ab product which has been in fitness centers and health clubs for the past year. A home version has recently become available to consumers. I think the best advice is to perform at least 3 good sets every day. One set facing front, one set for the right, and one set on the left (adjusting knee pad between sets.) I like to finish off the workout with an “express” routine (knee pad in unlocked position). Do that for about 5 minutes and you’ll not need to do a cardio workout either! I’d say the whole workout is less than 10 minutes a day. I do it in the morning to get it out of the way first thing. But I enjoy the workout so much that I also like to use the Ab Coaster periodically throughout the day, even though it’s not necessary. I just like the way it makes my abs feel — like I’m getting ripped!
Is burning 500 calories a day a good work out?
Q: Hello I have an ab circle pro and I burn 500 calories off each day. i weigh 60 kg and I look skinny. I am also 5.5 feet tall. How long do you think till I have a really nice 6 pack? and how much weight do you think I would be losing every 500 calories?thanks
A: Yes, burning 500 calories a day is a good work out.Your Basal Metabolic Rate would be 60kg x 10.2 + 879 = 1,491 calories to which you should add about one thousand calories for growth if you’re under 21 (you’re only 5’5” and 132lbs so I’m assuming you’re a teenager…) and also add the 500 calories that you’re burning exercising. If you don’t eat more, you would lose one pound of fat reserves for every 3,500 calories, like every week, for you. But not on the scale, because you would gain muscle mass.I’m hoping you’re not just using the ab circle pro and that you’re not doing weight training every day because, you’re not getting stronger while exercising, you’re getting stronger and building muscle mass while resting. You have to push your muscles beyond their limits and feel the burn and tear them up, so they’ll have to heal stronger. The healing is the most important part for you to get stronger, so only exercise again once all the soreness is gone (if you don’t get sore, you did not push hard enough). If you’re in your 20s or younger, you might need a day of two of rest, in your 30s, you will need 2 or 3 days, in your 40s, 3 or 4 days, in your 50s, 4 or 5 days…and so on.You’re only 132lbs, you should think about getting stronger and gaining muscle mass, like 10 or 20lbs, not losing weight. You should eat a lot because you’re a man (1,490 calories), you’re growing (add 1,000 calories), you’re exercising and building muscle mass (add 500 calories). You should eat 3,000 calories and keep exercising a lot, get taller, bigger and stronger.I wish you the best.
What would be good starting ab work for me?
Q: Since having two kids, I’ve done little exercise and my muscles have gotten very weak. I recently started doing some curls each day, but found my back muscles ended up having all kinds of problems (sore, occasional spasms). I think my back muscles are probably compensating for a lack of abdominal strength. So what sort of ab work is good for somebody’s whose abs are really weak?
A: I suggest that you strength the inner core muscles by performing exercises like the plank, the drawing in manuever, side plank, the bird dog. These are all exercises that will work you deep ab muscles to help stabilize your spine. Also you can purchase a stability ball and performing your crunches on there, since it’s easier on the back.Lastly, you want to strengthen your muscles in your back as well by performing cobras, and supermans to strengthen your lower back so there’s no muscular imbalances developed.GDhttp://www.fitness-success.comhttp://www.4evertoned.com
