A: Hi, crunches and lunges are excellent work-outs for the core, they should be, in my opinion put in to every work-out, how beneficial the exercise is depends on how hard you work them, I wouldn’t recommend working them with cardio such as running, biking, swimming etc. Working the muscle groups in a morning and then doing cardio in an evening works every time, trust me I’m a Royal Marines Commando and have done this for a living for the last 5 years 2 or 3 sessions of physical activity everyday and still feel the benefits, when you start to plateu ( begin to stop feeling the benefit ) increase repititions, sets , intensity accordingly until you feel the benfits.I don’t mean to sound like I’m braggin but a Corps of 6,000 men can’t be wrong. If you want any good endurance workouts message me and I’ll help you as much as I can and tailor them to your goals.

A: do them in a mirror and try to see if you see something different that you do with your right as opposed to your left. If you can get a trainer that knows their stuff and have them watch you. It has to be something that you are doing with you right that you are not doing with your left. Make sure that your knee is not going out over your toes and make sure that your steps are straight ahead and not to the side what so ever.
