A: If u have more than 8-10% body fat…then u can forget about it…The only way to see ur abs is lose body fat by lifting weights and doing 3-5 days of cardio 20 min or more. Now if u have that amount of body fat or less, then work on ur abs 2-4 times a week, and after about 6-12 weeks u should be able to see some kind of brick pattern…..but sit ups only do so much…u have 3 different areas of the stomach to train…situps only target ur upper part…u still have the bottom and obliques (sides)…go to www.bodybuilding.com and they have everything u need and want to find out.

A: if you have fat on your tummy then no matter now many sit ups you won’t see a difference. you will have a six pack, but the fat will hide it. it sucks, i know :(that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t keep up with it. include cardio in your workout routine to burn off the fat while you are doing sit ups so when the fat eventually goes away you will see a nice toned tummy!
