A: Has your doctor recommended any weight loss method to you? If it’s a medical emergency, there’s a plan called Optifast, which is similiar to Slimfast in that you drink a ‘shake’ 5 times a day, total caloric intake a day about 800 calories. This MUST be under a doctor’s supervision however, and is quite costly. Even with Optifast i don’t think you could drop that much weight however; about 5 pounds a week. Good luck to you however, and whatever method you use make sure you have plenty of support. (There are free weightloss support groups online)
