The coats come off, it slowly unfolds.
Life begins to slowly transform.
So light hearted, fun and free.
June and July just fly by.
Beaches, lakes, BBQ’s and sundaes.
The sun blazing ever so brightly.
Work is but a part of our day
after which we still have several hours still left to play!
The hustle and bustle, the laughter and joy…
There is no denying, summer is such a great rouser!!
The August breeze brings around a reminder.
It’s time to move on to what the next season has to offer.
Pull out the sweaters, the turtlenecks too.
There is more time to enjoy the moons soft glow.
Longer, darker evenings for homework and cuddling.
Time for leaf peeping and hiking, hot chocolates and stews.
Summer is over, but has left us widely awake
and ready for fall and all of its splendor!
