To Paraphrase President Reagan – There You Go Again

Once again President Obama is pushing Congress to pass his newest job package, costing a mere $447 billion, demanding immediate passing of his bill, by saying ” no games, no politics, no delays”.

In other words and sounding similar to the military code “don’t ask, don’t tell” or, “do not inspect, do not examine” (my) job bill, just pass it, (and) regardless of prior failed jobs programs, regardless of a national debt of $14.7 trillion, regardless of a fiscal $1.3 trillion dollar deficit.

Elaborating further, the President said, “his job bill is an insurance policy against the economy falling back into recession.” I have news for you Mr. President, thanks to (your) economic policies we went back into a recessionary period. You must have missed the second estimate on our 2nd quarter GDP, falling from a previous 1.3% to only 1%, and the final version will likely be a miserable 0.5 to 0.7%. That reading will imply “no economic growth at all”.

Seemingly Mr. President you do not get it! The nation is deeply indebted and there is no room to spend money other than creating even more debt, even higher daily interest on the debt. You spent a previous $820 billion – in stimulus money – with nothing to show for other than more debt. And now, in your latest undertaking, you want Congress to blindly pass anything you send them. It is not your money, rather than creating more debt on the back of the American people. How much more in debt will you burden on the public?

In light of the latest poll, (your approval rating tanked) this newest job plan will be seen as just another effort to bolster your sagging poll numbers.
