The Battle Continues- Rick Perry Stays on the Presidential Campaign

Rick Perry is staying in the Presidential Race is busy in South Carolina. The successful longest serving Texas Governor has vowed to press on. The question for some is can he overcome? His first days in the race saw him skyrocket to the top. However, all candidates at the top tend to take a beating for a while. It is meant to weather them a bit. Each of the GOP candidates now has been at the top at one time or another, except Huntsmen who has just dropped out. It’s been more of a popularity contest than an actual contest on successes and record.

Americans should be concerned about how Rick Perry has been portrayed, while his gaffes have made him sink in the polls, Americans looking for a job or improved income should check their popularity contest style of voting. The last time the blind people voted for eloquent speech– America got Obama. While his speech is certainly eloquent, he has been a fiscal disaster! It is difficult to understand how intelligent American’s can see the shallowness of fluff and no substance. How can everyone be so blind? While true eloquence in a pinch is great, a steady hand of action during a crisis is far greater. Perry is the only one with the experience to do this job right and truly turn the tide for long term gain. Certainly the country is at a dangerous place, and the downgrade by the S&P of foreign nations is a warning sign for America. One Obama consistently ignores. The United States sets the pace for the world, financially and culturally. Anyone with half a brain knows this, Americans should be so proud that a melting pot of worlds and cultures come together in one land of freedom.

So again lets talk true political experience. Perry has run the 13th largest economy in the world and he is the only one who succeeded in creating massive jobs and balancing a budget in that economy when the United States has overall suffered from the worst economy since the Great Depression.

He has a strong moral compass and has moral conviction, he loves and endears God and his country. His demeanor is like that of prophets old. A man of his word, with strength and character yet with his heart never to far hidden from view. For a politician, that is some remarkable traits. The thing is, American voters can be stupid, they lambaste and chastise a few gaffes as does the press. Bill Clinton can make the most ridiculous of gaffes and say he did not know oral sex was “sexual relations”, and he gets away with it. Obama can say we have 57 states and a janitor is a Jew, and he gets away with it– Perry makes a few gaffes after suffering from nerves and spinal surgery and they fry him—even though he has one of the best records of delivering real jobs and balancing a budget for his state in the country. All of this over the last 10 years, some of the worst economic times in the last 80years. Why are they so blind? It is a question without answers, can we blame the press ? What if we take Obama off a teleprompter, does his deity status deflate quickly.

With a man who can accurately and truly depict he has a fantastic record-record-record——on jobs-jobs-jobs, balancing the Texas budget–and working with the 13th largest global economy in the world. That says a great deal about his ability, Lord knows we need that right now.

How blind can people be- a man with grit and remarkable character, his honesty and sincerity and patriotism as well as his record as Governor are unparalleled in this race. One questions it over and over again. Facts not lip service. Do Americans want a President who has successfully done what Americans need–create jobs, inspire patriotism, believe in the best for our nation, create balanced budgets, handle a global powerhouse economy, handle a crisis such as a hurricanes or natural disaster? Can Americans see Gaffes mean nothing, record of success means everything–no lip talk just a real honest success story? I guess we are about to see!
