Review on New Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Diapers

Huggies released Little Movers Slip-On Diapers a few months ago. The diapers, which only come in sizes 3 through 5, run the same price as other Huggies, but have had $3 coupons out, so I thought I would try them for my toddler. Right now, you can get Huggies at a great price if you combine the $3 coupon with the sale going on at Walgreens. For the past few weeks, they have been $6.99 or less after Register Reward and with the coupon, and you can get them for around $4 a pack. This is a great deal for trying out a new diaper.

Slip-On diapers do just that: They allow your child to slip them on just like regular underwear. This is great for my child, because she doesn’t like to hold still very long, and also we have been trying to potty train her. She even calls these diapers “panties.” The only difficulty would be if you need to replace a diaper for a child with pants on; However, the diapers also have tabs if you need to use them, and are easy to use. Even my child can get the diaper off when wet. This could be viewed as a con of the diaper, but she is at the age where she will take off any diaper for any reason at any time.

The Slip-On diapers are decorated with Tigger and my child loves the design. She has only had problem with the diapers one time. One day when she woke up, the diaper lining was leaking the inside material. However, this may be because she was drinking too much milk before bedtime. It is not a common happening with the diapers. The diapers generally hold a decent amount of liquid as long as you change them frequently like you are supposed to.

The fit of the diaper was adequate. My child usually wears Luvs (a household favorite), Pampers, or Walgreens diapers because of lower price and quality. She will wear Huggies whenever I can get a good sale and coupon match. However, Huggies have always seemed to fit her differently. They still do the job, however, and I guess that is what is most important.

Overall, Huggies Slip-On Diapers are an adequate diaper, but nothing special. Once they go back to regular price, I probably will only get them if I have a good sale-coupon match again. But if you are a Huggies fan or want something more like underwear, I would give them a try.
