Make a Wedding Card with Translucent Vellum

The Perfect Wedding Card

To make a beautiful wedding card, wedding invitation, or bridal shower invitation use card stock, brads, and translucent vellum.

Supplies:

Brads in gold or silver (found at a craft store) 1/16 circle hand puncher Colored card stock White card stock Translucent or iridescent vellum Adhesive tape runner (permanent)

Directions:

Cut a standard size piece of colored card stock in half with scissors or with a paper trimmer. Fold the cut paper in half to form a card. Cut out a piece of white card stock a little smaller than the front of the folded card. Either print out an image onto white card stock from your computer or use a rubber stamp to stamp an image on the card. Use adhesive tape on the unstamped side of the white card stock. Lay the white card stock on top of the colored card stock. Cut a piece of translucent vellum just a little smaller than the front of the card. Lay the vellum on top of the card. Using the hole puncher, punch holes in all four corners of the front of the card and the vellum. Insert brads to hold the vellum in place.

In the card pictured I used a Beauty and the Beast rubber stamp and gold brads.

Happy crafting!
