All middle and high school orchestra directors of CCISD have been putting together a joint concert with the goal of collecting canned goods to feed the hungry in the Houston area. This concert will happen on Nov. 11th at Grace Community church on I45 at Dixie Farm Road.
On November 11th , that’s 11-11-11 , the orchestras of Clear Creek Independent School District will be “Giving Bach” to the community with a classical music concert at 7:00 P.M . at Grace Community Church. Over 400 select string musicians from 15 Clear Creek schools will participate in a joint performance with the goal of feeding the hungry in the Houston area. Hiram Clarke Multi Service Center will be on site collecting 2 or more canned foods per person as admission to the concert.
So, please attend and bring friends and relatives as well. The music will be all classical – a few Bach pieces, Holst, Bernstein, and some patriotic music.
