I suffered from difficult pregnancy. I took epidural to make it easier for me. But every one knows, there are side effects of using epidural. So I am suffering with severe back pain now.
Doctor prescribed me a very strong pain killer, Arcoxia 60mg. Arcoxia is very strong in action and provides quick relief . It is effective and provide relief up to 8 to 12 hours.
I use Arcoxia 60mg twice a day (for three days). After three days I am always back to normal..
I am usually just fine and my back does not give me any problem. But after gardening, vacuum cleaning the whole house’s carpets in one go or performing any hard job, my back pain returns. Then I take the course of Arcoxia 60mg along with one paracetamol, I feel better. I am fit to perform my life activities normally
My mother is suffering from arthritis and I noticed my mother was also prescribed with Arcoxia during severe joint pains. She was happy with the tablet.
I wanted to know what are side effects of the tablet if uses for long period. I searched the internet and found out
abnormal laboratory test results
bruising
diarrhoea
flatulence
flu or flu-like symptoms

indigestion

oedema or fluid retention – if this worsens you must tell your prescriber
palpitations
raised blood pressure
stomach pain or discomfort
tiredness
weakness

Arcoxia tablets contain the active ingredient etoricoxib. Etoricoxib is a type of drug called NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug).

When I searched the web I find loads of warning about the medicine. But as I mentioned earlier I do not use the Arcoxia on regular basis. I just take the medicine when my back pain returns. After three days I stop the medicine.
It is better to consult the doctor before using any medicine.
I read the leaflet that says it should not be take in case
of breast feeding
pregnancy
trying to conceive
work with heavy machine(can cause dizziness)
liver, stomach or kidney problem
high blood pressure
But in short doses, in severe back pain, it is a big help for me. I am not breast feeding or trying to conceive any way.
Another important thing which one should remember that ARCOXIA is only a pain killer not a CURE. Arcoxia only helps relieve the symptoms but it does not cure it (http://arcoxia-side-effects.com/). It is taken in really serious pain or joint related problems. It should not be taken for headache or etc.
