- A: If you mean coricidin (chlorpheniramine, the antihistamine) it doesn’t harm you in regular doses. If you take too much, it dries your mucous membranes, will make you sleepy and dry eyed, but this goes away. You’d have to take a truly massive dose to kill you.DK
