I know partially sighted people must see fractal patterns and suchlike, but what about somebody who is totally blind, such as people with damage to the optic nerve? Can the brain still create patterns that they ‘see’? Or is it an entirely audio experience?

A: im sorry i do not know the answer but its a brilliant idea, im looking going to keep an eye on this for answersmy theory (totally unscientific) is the chemical effect of LSD has an effect on the brain not the optic nerve so there may be some slight visions but i have no idea, obviously they would still feel the other effects other than visuals.
