What are the actual side-effects of using anabolic-steroids?
Q: I’m Just curious. My friend was taking them at one time and he gained a lot of good lean muscle mass in a short time. I was considering trying it myself. I know what i’ve learned about in school about steroids, but i’m not in any sport and i just want to see how well it works. The side effects i’ve learned about. BUT DO THEY HAPPEN TO EVERYONE EVERY TIME??thanks for the answers
A: Without a doubt steroids work, but you will be playing with fire if you try them. Honestly if you did a short cycle you wouldn’t really notice any bad side effects (except your nuts will shrink to the size of raisins for a couple weeks when you stop until your natural testosterone kicks back in). I’m not going to lie to you, you feel pretty invincible on the juice and you feel like you have a pump all the time. That’s the problem, they can become very psychologically addictive, you feel like you are on top of the world. I’m sure you heard all about the long term side effects, that you will get( at least some of them) if you go on them to long, so no need to mention them. Some things you might want to consider: Unless you know someone in a lab, you will never know what you are putting in your body (there have been cases of people injecting armoral because they were scammed). Steroids are a class A contraband (same as heroin and cocaine) so you don’t want to get caught with them. I did a short cycle to heal a chronic shoulder injury (2 years in pain) and my shoulder was good as new in under 2 weeks. You still have to work out hard or you will just get fat, so if you are looking for the easy way, forgetaboutit. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t like being on steroids, but I’m also smart enough to know it’s just not worth it, because long term use will cause a lot of irreparable damage. So unless you are a person with some serious self controle I wouldn’t even think about getting sucked into a trap that will harm your body. If you think you can do a cycle and stop, you are young and healthy and you know where you can get the real deal, then it’s not going to hurt you. If you let it suck you in, well then you’re screwed.
Are the side effects of anabolic steroids…..?
Q: caused by the body when it starts to rely on the steroids and stops producing testosterone on it’s own, ? For example high voice, shrunken balls, and breast tissue all seems related to the lack of testosterone being produced. If anabolic-androgenic steroids were cycled properly would these side efects occur?
A: Steroids is a very broad term and the biochemistry of them is complicated. Some aromatize or turn to estrogen and that is why breast tissue called gynocomastia develops. Others can not aromatize, while others adversely effect your cholesterol levels and the list goes on and on. They all have some side effects and toxicity but they are demonized by the medical community and media mostly because its illegal and too complicated for most weekend warriors to do safely. Every pro bodybuilder is on more drugs than you can count, yet they aren’t all dropping dead. Also, when your body senses an excess of test in your system, it shuts down test production, if you don’t cycle off your body loses the ability to make its own test. This is why the testicle shrinkage. There are many people out there that claim if don’t intelligently there is minimal to no risk from steroid use. Do more research so if you do decide to stick a needle in yourself, you will be as informed as possible.
what are the effects of anabolic steroids? ( include side effects).?
Q:
A: Home Run ‘Roids Beneath the buff Barry Bonds blasted his 715th career home run on Sunday, surpassing baseball legend Babe Ruth’s total tally of 714. Bonds now stands second on the all-time home run list, behind another baseball legend–Henry “Hammerin’ Hank” Aaron, who hit 755.Baseball people put Bonds among the all-time greats. But steroids have put him under a cloud. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Bonds told a federal grand jury in 2003 that he used “clear” and “cream” substances his personal trainer said were a nutritional supplement and an arthritis balm. Yet prosecutors say “the clear” and “the cream” were steroids designed to foil steroid tests, and have put people in jail for making them. The investigation continues, as does Bonds’s pursuit of Hank Aaron’s home run record. Meanwhile, we’re taking our own look at steroids. Turns out, when the media say “steroids,” they almost always mean “androgenic-anabolic steroids,” a collection of more than 100 synthetic drugs used by people hoping to boost muscle mass. Yet the generic term “steroids” actually covers a much larger group of substances–some of which you’re “on” right now.Read My LipidsAlong with lots of water, you’re mostly made of four kinds of organic macromolecules: proteins, carbohydrates, nucleic acid, and lipids. Proteins are long chains of amino acids that combine to do lots of jobs for the body. Carbohydrates are chains of sugar molecules strung together to store energy. Nucleic acid is the key ingredient in DNA. And lipids include a variety of naturally occurring steroids.Never heard of lipids? You may know them by their other names: oils, fats, and waxes. Some lipids store energy. Others help your body keep moisture in or out. Still others, the steroid hormones, carry chemical signals that help you regulate bodily functions.Name Your SteroidsYour body produces steroid hormones in two major places: in your adrenal glands–located on top your kidneys–and in your reproductive organs–testes if you’re male, ovaries if you’re female. These steroid hormones do important work, but you may only know them by their aliases.Estradiol, a.k.a. estrogen, is a steroid that helps regulate the female menstrual and ovarian cycles. Cortisol, a.k.a. hydrocortisone, helps regulate inflammation and blood sugar levels. Cholecalciferol, a.k.a. vitamin D, helps regulate your calcium levels. There are others, too. And each derives from a “master” steroid you’ve surely heard of: cholesterol.Among the steroids we haven’t mentioned is testosterone, a reproductive hormone that stimulates masculine traits. Testosterone is the natural steroid that androgenic-anabolic steroids (the ones that get all the bad press) try to imitate.Artificial AdolescenceBoth males and females produce testosterone. In females, testosterone levels remain relatively low throughout life–and often decrease, along with estrogen and progesterone levels, after menopause. In males, testosterone levels take off at adolescence, triggering the various changes that accompany puberty–including increased muscle mass. It’s this adolescent effect that users of androgenic-anabolic steroids want. They take regular doses of testosterone-aping synthetic steroids to trick their bodies into producing muscle tissue as if they were adolescents again. How much more they get depends on dosage, participation in other muscle-building activities (such as weightlifting), and genetics.Yet users of androgenic-anabolic steroids also get some less-than-sexy side effects. Kidney damage, liver damage, and psychological problems are all common. Women often become more masculine. Men, strangely enough, often get the opposite. When artificial steroids trick a body into thinking it has lots of testosterone, it can stop making its own. Men then become more feminine, with shrunken testicles, fewer sperm, and bigger breasts. So much for feeling manly.
