A: I don’t think Marijuana is bad, but like all things in life, must be used/consumed in moderation.Some people still criticize people who smoke cannabis for a number of different reasons, but it all has to do with a negative stigma attached to it which resulted from a number of decades of propaganda. Many people don’t know any truth about it because they listen unquestionably to certain authority figures (D.A.R.E, the government, police, parents, the media…). In many cases, people are scared into believing it’s bad, and a lot of times aren’t told the truth. It’s sad to think that some people still believe cannabis kills you, or makes you stupid. When you try to reason people with truth and facts, they want none of it; ignorance is bliss I suppose?As for the ones who say cannabis makes you forgetful: it only affects short term memory temporarily, and for those who say it makes you stupid or lazy: the cannabis itself does not make you stupid, but it’s true that people who are already stupid and lazy might happen to smoke cannabis, but one fails to realize is that such people were already like that.There are also plenty of intelligent people who smoke, but of course, nobody wants to point that out.
