A: Okay this question is right up my ally I am a former drug addict and ive basically tried everything and since I have been in recovery I have went to school and became an addictions counselor, and I am currently working on my PhD in addictions. So as far as marijuana that lasts about the longest it lasts hours probably about 5-8 hours depending on how much you do and what your tolerance is. With heroine there is an initial euphria when you first shoot it into your vein and if you snort it the it takes a couple sencdonds to get the rush. That initial rush only lasts about a minute but you stay high for about 4 hours. With regular cocaine that you snort it lasts for a couple minutes thats why people are always doing more and more, but with crack cocaine that you smoke the high only lasts a couple seconds because it is such a rush when you smoke it and then it goes away, wheras when its snorted it stays in your mucus membranes a little longer and takes longer to get to the brain, but when you smoke it it directly hits you. Meth is one drug I have never tried but I have heard its like a mox of crack and heroin, you have that initial jolt that hits you very fast, and then when that goes after a couple seconds then it is supposed to keep you high fr a little while longer maybe a couple hours but im not 100% sure on that drug, all the other ones I am sure about.
