A: Well mostly in a lab…but mostly Ecstasy now isn’t real Ecstasy…it’s just a mix of street drugs like K, meth, heroin etc that combined have a similar euphoric feeling of Ecstasy. Real Ecstasy is MDMA and is formulated in a lab. But if I were to hazard a guess of where most of it comes from…it’s either imported in powder form and pressed into pills, or made in some guys bathtub with a majority of illicit substances.

A: Ecstacy is a “designer” drug developed in the 80’s as a legal alternative to psychadelics like mescaline & psyschotrophic mushrooms; and barbituates like black beauties and quaaludes; it was supposed to produce a mellow high that reduced your inhibitions, and left you in a happy cafe-free state of mind. In the 90’s as Raves became less counter-culture and more and more organized and “main stream” – and much larger “happenings”, free samples of ecstacy were being passed out like candy at Halloween – as a harmless “Party Booster”. It was an immediate hit, a status symbol, everyone that was cool was into “X”. Now that the fuse was lit the free samples began to dry up, but “X” was still availabe for sale at low prices, but slowly the cost would rise to $5 a pill, and in some places $ 10 or even more. The profits were enormus, and a lot of people got into manufacturing the drug, which was still legal, but legislation was already in the courts to change that.Meanwhile, the production of ecstacy went from carefully controled laboratories in France & Spain, using Pharmacutical grade equipment and ingredients, under controlled sanitary conditions, (where the manufacture of the drug, and many other legal prescription drug formulations and preparations were being legally manufactured under the rules and regulations of and overseen by the Goverment Inspectors in those Countires, to illegal “labs” in the US, hidden in back rooms, cellars, and warehouses, – where the “cookers” were generally Chemistry grad students or unemployed Chemists using out of date bulk chemicals, and when they could not get the exact ingredients they needed, they substituted some thing that was close in nature and use it instead, as well as other “Fillers”. The equipment and the manufacturing areas were not sanitary, and so the “product” they were producing was tainted to varing degrees, by various means from the start. Some labs even learned to speed-up the process by adding accelerating agents to the process, chemicals that were not only dangerous, but lethal; ingredients that no reputable drug manufacturer would ever consider incorporating into their manufacturing process.Certain :”Cookers” also like to “kick their product up a little”, by adding special / secret ingredients, (some of these “secret ingredients” were later determined to range from PCP to Heroin to LSD), so soon there was no telling what any tablet of esctacy contained, – but 99% of the consuming public had no idea that was the case, nor would they probably have cared, since by then, ( the early 90’s – I believe), Ecstacy was illegal in the USA.Why? Even when Esctacy was a “true and pure Designer Drug” it was dangerous; in many ways it was an upscale cousin of a “Roofie” – the date rape drug, Ecstacy when mixed with alcohol does a very good job of increasing the effects of even small amounts of alcohol in people – in other words you get smashed on less booze – but without passing out. You also find that you loose your inhibitions to a much much greater degree when consuming ecstacy and alcohol, as opposed to just alcohol alone. Countless you women have been willing “rape” victims at raves over the last 15 years thanks to the effects of ecstacy. There are numerous accounts of 14 – 18 year old girls being sexually assulted by 10 or more different partners during the course of an hour or less at raves, – before the police arrived and broke up the Raves and put an end to the assults. How many more go unreported is anyone’s guess.Since 1995 There have been only 54 deaths that I could find that were directly attributed to ecstacy. But the AMA reports that even a single use can cause detectable brain damage, and extended or repeated use can cause irrreversable damage to the brain, kidneys, and liver, Other studies are on going. Two of the deaths were almost immediate, – brain siezures.So if your looking to kill yourself, go get a gun and blow your brains out, and do a proper job of it. If you just want to be a blithering idiot, go Huff paint for a year or so. But, if you’re like me, and you’d rather hang around and enjoy great music, cold beer, and as much sex as you can possibly handle with those wonderful creatures of the opposite sex, and continue to waken to the beauty of this world and all the promise it holds – then leave the illegal drugs to the idiots and loosers, and the next time you want a “rush” grab a chocalte bar, or a willing hottie and satisfy your craving in a much safer- (and more satisfying way). A: eat loads of bananas, they help to replace the endorphins that e’s drain. its a chemical in your brain that makes you feel happy.
