my dog chewed a air conditioner filter, I believe it has fiber glass in it, how dangerous is it?

Q: It is one of those blue filters, the dog is acting ok but , I wasn’t here when it happened and I’m not sure what to do. The vet is closed, as it is night time here.

A: I would be sure the dog has plenty of water available. Look at it’s mouth and see if it is irritated. If the mouth gets irritated I would definitely take it and the filter to the Vet. If no irritation develops, I think you might be able to pass on the Vet. I am assuming that if irritation develops in the mouth, then it may develop internally and that if it doesn’t develop in the mouth then it won’t develop internally.
