DXM is not tested for with standard drug tests, but anecdotal reports suggest that large amounts of DXM can generate false positives for PCP.

A: If he bought it from a drug store, that thing is never gonna test for an OTC drug, it simply wasnt made for that reason. Most drug tests are looking for the usual marijuana, coke, narcotics, benzos, etc. DXM i believe is an isomer of the less popular opioid Levomethorphan (which could show up). So basically what I am saying is that the worst thing that could happen would be a false-positive for Levomethorphan, and you obviously didnt take that so I would not be worried. So therefore, if you really only took DXM cough syrup, there would be no problem here.
