WHY do I have some pain in my abdominal area?!?!?
Q: Ok, I know it’s not cramps because it’s wayyy too early for that. Besides, the pain is different and it a bit lower. It’s not really my stomach either, because that would be on the side, not the bottom. I do abs exercises but I really haven’t done anything weird or in a greater amount recently. So, what can it be? It just started hurting this morning. It hurts more when my abs move in certain directions. I’ve heard that sometimes when you get a cold or are about to get a cold, your abdominal area can get pains? It that what this is? 😮 I know for a fact that yesterday I had some pain in my underarm and I know that that means my body is trying to fight an infection. So, is this all related? Am I getting a cold or something? I dont really feel sick. Any advice? Thoughts? It would be appreciated! Thanks! :o)btw, I’m 24 and healthy (good food and exercise, non-smoker)Ukkhhhh, this sucks…it hurts no matter what I do!

Why does my girlfriend complain of pain during sexual intercourse?
Q: Just wondering, sometimes we would make love, and all of the sudden “ouch, ouch, ouch” she then says it hurt. What hurt I don’t know she thinks that my penis went in at an angle. She complains of the pain in the lover abdominal area. It happens sometimes. Why does this happen? Is it cause my penis goes in at a wrong angle as she indicated?

How can I get pregnant? Any tips?
Q: My boyfriend and I are trying for a baby. The last time didn’t work out. We are both able to have children. My period stopped yesterday so today, we had sex and he “came” inside me 2 times..I took some advice from people that had children. I laid down for about 20 minutes after we were done, hoping that it would help. Could I be possibly pregnant? Also why does it sometimes hurt my lower abdominal area when we have sex? I plan on trying again next week since I’ll be ovulating…Any tips??? Thanks 🙂
A: Here’s some of the basics:1. Track your cycle length, and calculate your peak fertile times. Your ovulation is due approximately 14 days before your period. Depending on how variable your cycles are, have sex starting 5 days before this date, to 2 days after this date (to allow for a bit of error). There are plenty of books, websites, and charting tools available to help you track your cycles.2. Learn to spot the changes in your cervical mucous. Around your peak fertile time, it will have a consistency like raw egg-white. You could also track changes in the feel of your cervix – often high, soft and open during peak fertile times, IIRC. That takes a bit of practice to recognise, though! 3. Cut out any activities which reduce fertility. So, for both you and your partner, no alcohol, cigarettes, or drugs. For your boyfriend, no tight underwear, saunas, hot baths, or long hot showers (excessive heat may affect the motility of sperm).4. Increase your basic level of health. Check your BMI (body mass index). If you’re underweight, gain a little weight, if you’re overweight, lose a little weight. Make sure you’re eating a healthy diet, and consider starting to take a pregnancy multivitamin, or folate tablets.5. If you’ve been TTC for 3 months or more without success, and you’ve been having sex at least once a day during your fertile times, cut down. Seems backwards, I know, but its common advice from experts, as sometimes the problem is the sperm doesn’t have enough time to develop. Only have sex every 2 days, even during peak fertile times for you. And that includes no solo action for your partner during your fertile time!Hope something in the above helps! In regards to pain during sex, there could be a number of causes. My best guess would be that if your partner is well-endowed, or you’re smaller than him, or if he’s very vigorous during sex, is that he’s bumping your cervix over and over during sex. Does he feel like he’s bumping his penis against something at the end of his thrusts? Some women find it exciting to have their cervix bumped during sex, others find it uncomfortable. In either case, you can feel a dull ache in your abdomen after deep-penetration sex that irritates your abdomen, once the fun endorphins wear off. If the pain is persistent, or itching, or you have other symptoms, see a doctor.:)BronwynPS – Don’t worry about keeping your legs in the air for 20min, unless you find it fun. It won’t greatly increase your chances of pregnancy. Sperm have no problems swimming uphill!
