The drugs, depending on what they are, will almost definitely appear in your blood… I would take the easy way out of this situation and say you are not feeling well or whatever… then they will think you are just getting sick and playing…

Why can’t I donate blood?
Q: I tried to donate blood a few years ago, but no matter how much they tried they couldn’t get my blood to flow, and they only got a few drops. Then I had a medical problem and they needed to take a blood test but again, they couldn’t get any blood to come out. When i was pregnant and they needed to take blood they had to take it from the vein in the back of my hand as the veins in my arms wouldn’t give them any blood. Why could that be? I’ve never taken drugs or had any medical condition that required a lot of injections so my veins have never been damaged. But I do suffer from acro-cyanosis, which means that the blood doesn’t flow to my hands and feet and I get purple, freezing cold hands and feet because the blood doesn’t go there easily.I am 6 feet tall, very thin (recovering anorexic) and female and it was suggested (by a medical student friend of mine) that my heart can’t pump hard enough to get the blood to my hands and feet due to my height and being a bit underweight.I also have endometriosis. I wonder why my blood doesn’t flow properly and if there is a medical condition that might explain it?
A: Well your firend could be right you could have done some permanent heart damage when you were anorexic, that is very dangerous. Also you could have some small veins that lie alot lower under the skin than other peoples, I know that I have very tiny veins and they roll when you try to stick a needle in them. When you look at my are you cannot see the veins that you can in other peoples, they usually have to go into my hands as well to gt blood, and even for IV’s. My son is 17 months old and he has gotten the same veins that I have, he had to have surgery when he was nine months old and it was heartbreaking to me because they tried getting an IV into him for a hour but his veins roll the way mine do. They had to put it into his head, and it was so sad to see. I have to admit that at one point I was an IV drug user, I have been clean for years and now I am a drug counselor, but I did use IV drugs for awhile, and my veins made it very difficult for me because I could never get them. So like I said it could be two reasons either very small rlling veins or your heart is not working as well fromt he anorexia, and if thats the case then you should have it looked at because that could be dangerous.
I have a couple questions about giving blood?
Q: So i really really want to give blood. Our school is making it extra easy for us by running a blood drive right there at school. All you have to do is fill out a small form & sign up for a time slot. I really want to do it, but everytime i see blood, or get shots, i pass out. That’s gonna be a HUGE problem. I’ve gotten 12 piercings, a few of which i almost fainted, one of which got infected, & when i went to get it looked at & they poked at it a lot, i fainted! lolLast time i got a little bit of blood drawn from my thumb i passed out, & when i got flu shot i passed out. Heheh (yeah, i gotta real problem here.)It’s not because of the pain, i just get really dizzy & think about it too much & i faint. IDK.Obviously, going on like this, i’ll NEVER be able to give blood (or do anything else involing needles & bodily fluids for that matter).Does anyone know what causes it?Anything i can do to prevent myself from passing out?????Also, a couple more Qs:If i DO decide to donate, is it safe to possibly have THC in the blood (or whatever remains in the blood after smokin’ trees) I mean, i haven’t smoked in three weeks but i don’t know. They give the blood to sick people (& possibly even children???)…& i don’t wanna be putting anyone at risk… (They didn’t mention any drug testing, so idk if they’re gonna check for that)…Honestly, i just wanna get over it so i can be able to give blood on a regular basis!!!HELP!Haha thanks for any help or advice!Much love <3Peace!unfrozen caveman: I actually have never WATCHED them do it…it doesn’t help not watching. but thanksss though 😛
A: Blood with a little THC is not that bad. People with insane THC and other crazy drugs in their system come in the ER. I think the joint you smoked that lunch time is neglible and most of its already metabolised within 2-3 hours. To detect the THC after 4-6 hours, you have to some crazy things like HPLC-MS and many other procedure to detect such low levels. Nobody does that with donated blood, its a waste of resources/money, because thoose small THC levels will not harm anyone even the little kids provided that you give blood after 4-6 hours. There are molecules like THC present right now in your body similar to THC helping you to fight stress. they are called endocanniods(Anandamide and 2-AG). For your first question, if you pass out by seeing needles and body fluids, I suggest you to stay away from blood clinics. its a very strong psychological phenomena. I have had friends determined not to pass out during vacinnes but somehow still manage to pass out. Its very hard to overwrite this particular emotional reaction. Some adults in their 50, still continues to pass out. I don’t think you can do anything, but just try being psychological prepared for the situation and hope for the best. hope this helps
