In Massena, NY there is a health store called The Natural Way with an iridologist.. pricing?
Q: Obviously I may not come across someone who has actually been to this particular store and has had an eye reading done, but if someone could tell me what to expect as far as cost goes, that’d be great =)
A: The majority of medical doctors reject all the claims of all branches of iridology and label them as pseudoscience or even quackery. Iridologists are rarely physicians. Iridology is only studied at private institutions, and it is not taught at medical schools. Critics, including most practitioners of mainstream medicine, dismiss iridology, largely because published studies have indicated a lack of success for its claims. The proposed correlation between illness in the body and coinciding observable changes in the iris is unsupported by clinical data. In controlled experiments, practitioners of iridology have performed statistically no better than chance in determining the presence of a disease or condition solely through observation of the iris. In my opinion, anything that is charged to you for this silly service would be too much. You should call theml and ask their prices. But, seriously, spend your money on a real doctor and get help for yourself instead of this.
Naturopath and Iridology…what do you think?
Q: I recently saw and Iridologist and was very pleased with her services. She gave me a foot bath in which toxins were removed from my body. She also put me on a program to promote better health and a healthier lifestyle. My friends and family thinks she’s a quack. Has anyone had any experience in using someone like this? If so, what were the results?
A: Naturopath and Iridology are both excellent. I have used both services a lot, with huge health benefits. Two weeks ago a Iridologist looked at my eyes and told me I had a magnesium deficiency. Just got my blood test results back from the doctor and he tells me I have a magnesium deficiency. Should have listened to the Iridologist and saved myself $50 on blood tests.I have tried the foot bath but I am very suspicious about it. I did feel better after using it and people commented that my skin looked clearer. Only tried it once so I could experience it, no plans to keep using it. It may be a con, not yet made up my mind about that one. However, a program to promote better health and a healthier lifestyle sounds great.Who cares if your friends and family thinks she’s a quack. Most people knock things they don’t understand. The only person whos views really matter are your own, and you have already said you were very pleased with her services..
UPPER RIGHT STOMACH PAIN?
Q: I HAVE HAD PAIN IN THE UPPER RIGHT PART OF MY STOMACH FOR MONTHS NOW. ABOUT 3 IN. TO THE RIGHT OF MY BELLY BUTTON AND ONE INCH UP. IT ISN’T ACCOMPANIED BY ANY OTHER PROBLEMS IE. NAUSEA, DIARRHEA, CONSTIPATION. I HAVE HAD BLOOD WORK DONE, ULTRASOUND, HYDASCAN, CT, XRAYS AND DOCTORS CAN FIND NOTHING. THE PAIN IS REAL, SOMETIMES A DULL ACHE EXCEPT WHEN YOU TOUCH IT THEN EXCRUCIATING PAIN. I KNOW- DON’T TOUCH IT, BUT YOU NEVER REALIZE HOW MUCH YOU TOUCH A PART OF YOUR BODY UNTIL IT HURTS- BUMPING STOMACH INTO THINGS, LEANING OVER SOMETHING, PICKING BABY UP AND HE TOUCHES IT WITH HIS FOOT. I CAN PIN POINT THE PAIN. HAS ANYONE OUT THERE HAD PAIN LIKE THIS? DID YOU FIND OUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITH YOU? I WILL DO ANYTHING- ALREADY SPENT $1000’S OF DOLLARS. EVEN CONSIDERING GOING TO IRIDOLOGIST THIS WEEK. (THEY READ YOUR EYES) SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE.
A: Sounds like your appendix. Are you sure this has been ruled out? Happened to me
