A: Lyme disease can cause headaches and nausea. More importantly, the “standard” course of antibiotics typically given to Lyme patients often isn’t enough, which means the Lyme could definitely still be causing you problems. Also, Lyme can come with “co-infections”–other diseases transmitted at the same time from the tick that gave you Lyme. Many of these co-infections require a different treatment than Lyme itself.Good sources of info about Lyme disease:http://www.lymedisease.orghttp://www.ilads.orghttp://www.canlyme.comhttp://www.lymenet.orghttp://www.lymeinfo.nethttp://www.lymediseaseassociation.orghttp://www.lymedoctor.comhttp://www.touchedbylyme.orghttp://www.facebook.com/lymedisease.org
