To torture an animal and to eat an animal are two completely different things. To eat an animal is natural, to torture one is an instinct, a bad instinct, to release stress. A: I was a vegetarian for 5 years – and it started as a fad.A friend of my mums used to be a vegetarian, and she claimed that I could never live as one. So I did to prove a point. But it brought out a latent metabolism disorder, and I gained over 40 pounds in the 5 years. Once detected, I had to go back to eating meat, and I am on medication for life, so the pounds are slowly coming off – about 10 to go to my pre-veg weight.
