Both are essential nutrients. This is basically a semi-starvation diet. You will lose lots of lean muscle mass as your body wastes away.It is very difficult for people to sustain wt. loss of more than 1 lb a week. A pound of fat= 3500 calories. If you burn 500 calories more per day than you eat than you will lose 1 lb a week. If you lose more than this you are losing water weight by dehydrating yourself, losing weight at an unsafe rate through semi-starvation, and you will not be able to maintain this weight loss.Don't believe me? Net Calories: 723. Exercises I did was DDR (-112) , walking the dogs for 45 min.( -150). I also did a cardio/yoga exercise for a hour, not sure how many calories that burnt but I was doing it to tone my body. It focused on every part of my body, upper and lower.Day 2: Total calories consumed: 1,025. Calories burnt: 490. Net Calories: 535. Exercises I did was DDR (-316), walking the dogs for 45 min.( -150). I also did the cardio/yoga exercise for a hour again.Day 3: Calories consumed: 1,070. Calories burnt: 765. Net Calories: 305. Exercises I did was DDR (-603), walking with dogs for 45 min. (-150), and ran for a couple min. on treadmill (-50). I also did the cardio/yoga exercise again but only for 47 minutes today.-- Yes, I keep a food journal. I use Livestrong.com. I can already somewhat feel my abs and thighs being stronger from the cardio/yoga. If I keep doing what I've been doing every day, how soon should I see results?
