The Atkins carbohydrate counter lists them under fruit, since technicnally they are a fruit not a veggie! The listing is for one small Haas (the darker, almost black) avocado. It lists total carbs at 14.9 and fiber at 10.1. HTH

A: You could always do calorie counter search on google. If you’re trying to diet though, limit the avocado. It’s loaded with fat, even though its the good kind, it still has alot! Everything else sounds fine.

Q: I eat a large Hess Avocado in the morning with breakfast and a smaller one at about 4pm. I am told Avocaodo’s are the only “complete food” in that they contain Protein, fat and carbs. But what type of fat is it ? Mono-unsaturated, saturated , cholesterol like or omega oil type ?
A: It’s monosaturated fat, but it’s healthy and it somehow reduces the levels of bad cholesterol and increases the good cholesterol in the body.
