I am a “good boy”?
Q: Thats right. I think it might be IMPOSSIBLE for me to get in trouble. I always do the right thing. I do so good in school. I dont chew gum in school. I dont talk while the teacher is talking. I am nice to people most of the time. I’ve been in middle school for 2 years and I never got detention. I didnt get in trouble even ONCE. And right now I’m trying to get a popular girl to go out with me? Oh my god, what the hell was I thinking? WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING? I am always the “quiet one.” Omg, I must be on drugs or something. What the hell kind of a popular girl would want a “good boy.” I just cant do something bad for once. I always have my mind on the you know .. not to do anything stupid or bad. I just suck. Trying to get a popular girl. Haha, yeah right. Oh and dont give me that hot girls like good guys. They like the “bad boy type” and you all know it. I just….I just suck. You know what, whatever. Go out with your “bad boys.” I dont care anymore.Ohh ok “hon” so we are their 2nd choice?? Ohh great!! What a feel that will be! TERRIFIC!
A: well, since it seems to me that you’re aged anywhere from 13-15 years old, i would have to say, wait. honestly, as girls grow a little bit older, like sophomore or junior year in high school, they start to realize that the bad boy isn’t all that great. i’ve dated my share of bad guys, and i wouldn’t really consider myself ‘hot’… i wouldn’t even consider myself popular, i just happened to come from a smaller school where everyone knew the other person by name. really, it took me until the end of my junior year to realize that bad boys weren’t really that great. and by that time, most of the nice boys had girlfriends who’d realized that before i did. even if you don’t get the hot, popular girls now, you’ll get them, if not sooner, you’ll get them later. trust me, since my junior year two years ago, i had been looking for a nice boy, who is very rare in high school, and i finally found one, in college. so don’t worry, you’ll get your chance 🙂
Bad breath problem…but not the usual type?
Q: Last year I went through a bad flu (I never get sick) and since then I’ve been having this taste in my mouth (like my mouth is wrapped in ceran wrap and I have this horrible breath on me I cannot stand it. It is worse in the morning but it is not the usual kind of bad breath but it comes from like the back of the mouth (like all the way down the throat). I’ve sensed that it becomes worse when I eat onion (so I stopped eating it). I don’t eat spicy foods or garlic or anything like that. I don’t know what it is and to who I should go to. I do brush regularly and floss irregularly 🙂 (like 2 times a week)I also use listerine, chew gum, and with the latter the problem “goes away” for as long as I have gum in my mouth (but I can’t chew it all day though). If anyone has any suggestions please share, I’d greatly appreciate them!Thank you in advanceJust to add, I’m not on any medication.
A: Hydrogen Peroxide is a GREAT mouth wash, when used with baking soda it make a GREAT tooth whitener. I am certain this will help alleviate your bad breath problem BUT, it sounds like your problem is gastrointestinal so you will need to see a Dr. that will take you seriously and help you find your answer of what is happening on the inside of you. The problem most likely is coming from your gut, internal juices etc. See a Doc. A specialist would be best, Gastrointestinal specialist. Good Luck
How can you teach your bird what “No” means?
Q: My cockatiel is bad….she bites, she hisses, she chews on things shes not supposed to…don’t get me wrong, she is one of the coolest animals ive ever owned, but her biting and overall bad additude is driving me crazyShe thinks she is my boss. She will fly up onto my sholder, but if i move my head, she bites me, and Its driving me crazy, she is biting me as I type this, How can I train her to listen, or stop biting, something to change this bad behaviorIm guessing it has something to do with her previous owners, at her old house, she was used as a decoration, in a room that people rarely went to, she had free flight of the room, and hardly an people interaction, she had no toys, and only a seed based diet, she lived this way for about a year….then this person (a good friend of mine) knew that I loved animals and decided to give her to me. I got her wings clipped, and she was the sweetest bird for a while, but now, about 5 months after I got her, she is just always ….moody, i just don’t know what to do anymoreHow can i train her to be nice, like no biting, no chewing that sort of thingHELPher wings are clipped
A: Its all in the tone of your voice. You just go “NO” Stern. She will catch on soon.
