I’m so scared. Please help. Honest and mature answers please.?
Q: by my vagina, on the right side is this lump. It’s by the bone and it isn’t inside my vagina, it’s on the line that cuts the vagina from the thigh.Anyways, i have a lump, it’s not on the surface of my skin, it’s under my skin and i could actually grab it.I don’t know what it is, i thought it was a zit or something so i tried popping it (stupid i know) and a bit of puss came out, a bit of blood, and nothing. Now, it just looks like a really dark bruise.I’m really really scared, it’s been there for about a week now. I don’t really know.Is it an std?I’ve never had sex before but i do pleasure myself every now and then.is it a cyst?is it an ingrown hair?I just recently started shaving, it itches like crazy on both sides of my vagina. Is it a popped vein?Is it a zit?Is my underwear too tight or is the fabric not right for me?I’ve worn these under wears for a bit over a year now, of course i wash them.I also have something similar to it on the other side but it’s more on the surface with a lot of smaller lumps/bumps.It’s so nasty, i’m scared and don’t know what to do.I don’t want to tell my mom cause she’s the type of person who thinks any bump/lump should be popped like a pimple. It’s ridiculous.I also don’t want to go to the doctors, i would like to solve this problem at home.I’ll extend the detail if anything comes to mind. Please try to answer the questions i have listed above and/ or any other useful information.Help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

bump on my bum, mature medical advice?
Q: so… this is awkward, but i wanted some more advice from anyone who’s had something like this, before i went to the clinic. please be mature and professional.while taking a shower, and cleaning my bum, i felt a pea sized lump right inside between the two sphincters [so not actually in the intestine, but just inside]. it doesn’t hurt unless I’m poking it, but that could simply be from the poking. it’s not ON the tissue wall, but inside it, and can move a little with pushing but is still attached to the inside tissue. and its not exactly like i can see it, so it is hard to describe.any ideas what it might be? I’m pretty sure its not any sort of herpes or warts, because haven’t touched anyone in like nine months, been tested since, and they’re also fine anyway. but if it is an STI, any one know what else it could be? or maybe an infection? or what? or worse if it’s some sort of tumor, benign or malignant, is that what they are like to begin with? because I’m pretty sure its not supposed to be there, which is worrying me.any advice before i go get it checked? what else it could be?thanks.
A: Could be a pilonidal cyst. Do you sit a lot (ie, school or a desk job)?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pilonidal_cyst
White, bony lump on gum? What is it?
Q: For about a month now I’ve had this white, bony protrusion on my upper gum facing my cheek above my number 2 tooth (second molar in from the left). It looks like a white bump or patch with a small red ring sometimes and then a white center bump that feels very bony and hard. I just went to the dentist about three weeks ago and she didn’t say anything but then again, I didn’t mention it to her. I don’t think it’s an abscess because I’ve had one before and that was excruciatingly painful compared to this. This feels more like a canker sore but last night I touched it and it actually felt like a small protrusion of bone coming through my gum. I’ve been reading and saw some stuff that it could be a mandible tori or a gingival fibrous nodule, but I’m not sure. Any ideas of what this could be? Should I go to the dentist immediately or wait to see if it gets worse / clear up?
A: I’m not trying to scare you, but it could be cancer. My friends mom had a small white bump on her tongue, and it ended up being cancer, she didn’t do anything about it for a long time, and it was very severe, but thanks to radiation treatment, she’s fine. If I were you I’d go to another dentist, just to be sure.
