Is there a good way to prevent acne without medicine?

Q: I’ve had acne problems since I was twelve, for eight years. I’m twenty now and its not nearly as bad as it once was but sometimes i have breakouts. I’ve been on every acne medication known to man, most of it worked to some extent but the majority of oral medications have dangerous side effects and I’m quite sick of the topical stuff, it makes my face so dry and I have heard it increases the risk of skin cancer.So what can i do to get rid of this acne, Right now I’m just washing my face about four times a day and using clearasil cream every night, but its really messing up the skin on my face. I don’t have many acne problems when I use it, though. I’ve heard all the advice about acne like don’t touch your face, don’t eat greasy foods, etc. I’m doing all this stuff, but still having some problems. Is there a natural way to prevent this acne?

A: There are two good ways to get prevent acne without medicine!! One is drink a lot of water because that way you can hydrate your skin and relieve unwanted moisture(sweat) faster. Two, exercise so that way you sweat. When you sweat your pores open up and you wash away the dirt and oil, so drink all the water you want and then some and that should help. Might not always work but hey It works!!

A: I think that pharmaceutical companies make too much money off the medicines for cancer and AIDS to release a cure. We talked about this when I was in college in 1991. At the very least, a vaccine to prevent AIDS should have been available a LONG time ago!!! My professor also taught us that they HIV virus must have been created (man made) in a laboratory because a naturally occuring virus could not have mutated that fast. It was a way for governments to get rid of gays and IV drug users. I don’t know for sure if this is true, but after learning their arguments, it is possible. Magic Johnson does not come down with full blown AIDS because he is super rich so he can afford the best medicines. He has HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, but not the AIDS disease itself.

Q: I (female 21) have got this friend (male, 23) who feels extremely lonely, and who can’t even bare looking at other people being happy because of his loneliness.He says, he can’t sleep at night, because the quietness of the night would kill him. A: Anti depressants help with both social anxiety and depression. They’re not a cure but they can help him out so that he has the strength to change his life around. They’ll ease his depression right up and they’ll make him less anxious around people. This’ll help him turn his life around and he may later be able to go off them and be fine. I’d also recommend councilling/therapy if possible as well just to make sure his thought patterns are better for when he comes off them. He really should go see a doctor and tell them he thinks he may have depression and/or social anxiety disorder.I’ve been through it and there are ways to help people out of it. Anyway I really think anti depressants can help him. And I really hope he sees someone about them.
