REPOST- SO WORRIED. Is it an ovarian cyst, something else? Am I pregnant? Is it an ECTOPIC Pregnancy?
Q: i’m 17 and i’m scared what is happening to me. I had my last period on the 31st of august. on saturday the 12th I started feeling slight nausea but i didnt think anything was wrong. On wednesday the 16th I got sharp cramps that felt like they were on my right ovary. the area hurts on and off and is still tender but but hurts less over time. the whole time i have been feeling slight nausea and also on friday my ankles started hurting. i threw up last night for the first time. today so far there hasnt been any nausea but i feel bloated.i’ve never experienced anything like this before, especially during this time. occasionally i’ll get throbbingpain around my ovaries when i have sex with my boyfriend (who has a very large and slightly curved penis) but it will stop within an hour. I only had comparable pain to this once but felt it immediately during sex. I threw up soon after from what i think was the pain.my bf thinks i might have ovarian cysts but i’ve never felt this kind of pain before i started having sex with him 6 months ago. i know the pain after sex might be his size and shape but i normally never show any of the symptoms of ovarian cysts. i don’t normally have pain halfway thru my cycle. i have never felt anything during ovulation, i have never even kept track of my ovulation. my period is inconsistent, sometimes it is 27 days other times it is 33 or more days.after reading lots of stuff online about the nausea and the ovary cramps im starting to think im pregnant. i dont have any other symptoms except i was moody on thurs, no spotting, no sore breasts, no abnormal fatigue. recently my boyfriend has noticed my cm getting really thick. he says my cervix still feels soft and unplugged.i am worried after reading the symptoms of ectopic pregnancy. for a while i have had a feeling that i am infertile. i used to have sex several times a day every day with my past 2 boyfriends, though i used condoms and spermicide. there were countless times that the condom broke and their semen got into my vagina. i was almost positive every single one of those times that i would get pregnant and i never did.i have pretty heavy periods every month i can soak an entire thick pad in a few hours. this is another sign i’ve read about infertility.i’m scared now after reading that ectopic pregnancies show pain on only one side. the worst part is that they can show up as negative on home tests and i won’t even know if i truly am pregnant. i am assuming the worst here, that im pregnant in the first place and that its ectopic. i’m afraid to wait until my period comes in 1.5~2 wks because i heard thats when the pain gets unbearable if its ectopic. I want answers asap i wanna know if this is something planned parenthood can deal with.right now i am 7-10 days pdo and im just so scared since i have never experienced any of this before.plz reply ASAP THANKS
A: you need to get to the doctor as soon as you can, hopefully they can then tell if you are pregnant or not and arrange a pelvic scan to see exactly what is going on. I had pains and still do occasionally but i have no cysts, one of my friends has had cysts and didnt have much pain at all, and another friend had bad pain, felt like it was in her kidneys, and she had an ectopic but she was also experiencing bleeding. You definately need to get checked out asap to rule things out.
I had an ovarian cyst about 4 months ago,,,?
Q: I am trying to conceive, and was curious to know if anyone has ever had a cyst during pregnancy? I know ovarian cysts can come back, so i was wanting to know if this is something to worry about….If/when i become pregnant i want the best for my baby, and do not want to take any chances…
A: they can come back. but if you want a baby you’ll have to take more doctor visits and make sure the cysts stay small durin the pregnancy. ask the doc. before you try to make sure. im not a doc. just using my comon sense.
Could I be in danger of ovarian cyst or something else?
Q: I do not have health insurance yet, I’m waiting to hear back from a few places before I choose,so I can’t go to the doctor yet. Ovarian cyst and cancer runs in my family and was wondering if anybody knows what this could be. My husband and I are ttc month 5 now and I normally have a 30 day cycle. A few months ago it switched to a 33 day cycle. Well this month I was 4 days late and thought I was pregnant well then af came and that was that. Well, now a week after I got off my period I can tell I’m ovulating by the cm, I can always tell when I’m ovulating by the cm. I have also been very bloated, over the weekend, I haven’t eaten more than normal, my work pants have gotten snug and I have been gaining weight. I have had migraines or at least a headache every day, I have a cold now and was feeling like I was going to throw up. I go from hot to cold all the time, and every time I brush my teeth or use any form of mouth wash it makes me gag to the point where I’m dry heaving. I have been using the bathroom a little bit more and sometimes it’s just very little that comes out. Does anybody know what this could be at all. I’m worried about myself and until I finalize my insurance I can’t go to the doctor and would like some piece of mind.I also am not on birth control and have not been on bc in over 3 years. I also have taken preg. test and they came out neg.
A: The cycle change is an indication something may be going on with hormone production. The steroid hormones (sex hormones) are all made from cholesterol and the precursor to all the hormones is pregnenalone. If you are eating lots of carbs and your fat intake is not good, and then if you are not getting good minerals in your diet, you may be creating the problem. Many times women who get PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) find they are loading up on carbs big time to compensate and this only exacerbates the problem. Cysts that form on the ovary are generally due to nutritional deficiencies and the ovaries are just trying to compensate for the deficiencies. If your cholesterol is too low, this can cause a lot of these kinds of problems. The ridiculous levels that doctors are trying to get people to achieve is causing a lot of these kinds of problems. A woman should have total cholesterol levels about 240 for good longevity and adequate cholesterol to produce good hormones. If you have any infections going on in your body, this will deplete your body of it’s minerals and cause this problem. The ovaries are part of the pituitary axis and involves 4 organs, the pituitary, adrenal glands, ovaries, and the thyroid. If any one of these organs becomes weak or sick, it affects them all. So, if you are having issues with your ovaries, your thyroid could be slowing down, causing you to gain weight, as an example and most likely you will also feel tired a lot of the time because your adrenal glands will also become weakened. Ovarian cysts should be handled nutritionally, not with drugs or surgery. Realize that menopause problems are typically only found in highly industrialized countries and America. Menopause is NOT a disease and women in many cultures around the world and Agragarian cultures do not have problems that American women suffer from.If you are young and having these problems, it could very well be that you are not eating enough good fats and eating high carb diets. This causes an effect called the “pregnenalone steal” that causes you to produce lots of cortisol, using up your supply of pregnenalone and this causes you to not be able to produce good sex hormones, your liver reprioritizes and does not reconjugate estrogen and your energy is coming from the stress hormone, cortisol. The “going from hot to cold all the time” is an indication of weak adrenal glands.Doctors are not good at hormone issues and in fact, create lots of problems as a result. Your very best bet is to contact a Certified Nutritional Therapist that understands QRA testing for best results. good luck to you
