irregular period after miscarriage?
Q: I had a miscarriage 4/1 and I got my 1st period 5/5 cd#36 well now I’m on cd#44 but still no period.I called the doctor and she said to call back if I don’t get a period for 8 weeks and still have a BFN then I can go in for an appt. to see what they can do.What can I expect? Do you think my period is irregular from miscarriage even though i had one normal period after it?Do you think it will go back to normal on it’s own or should i take progesterone after seeing the doctors?Does this make sense making me wait that long?it was a natural miscarriage I was 10 weeks….so i did not have to have a D&C e
A: well alot of times they suggest you wait 3 cycles before ttc again, this could be a reason why. I miscarried in March and my next 2 cycles were bang on and then this last month I used an opk and found out I ovulated 3-4 days later than I expected to and my period came 3-4 days `late“ , so it could just be that your body isn`t `back“ yet. The doctors generally know what they are talking about, miscarriage isn`t uncommon so she should have experience with this.

Irregular Periods after a miscarriage?
Q: I have always been extremely regular 32 day cycle. I had a miscarriage starting Nov. 28th (I was 5 weeks along), I since had a 35 day cycle and for my second cycle after my miscarriage I have still yet to come upon my period (it is now 35 days), I took a preg. test and it came up negative. Will I be regular again or has this miscarriage caused me to be irregular?? Does anyone know?
A: It can take a long time for your hormones to settle back to normal. If you are worried ask your GP if you can have a blood test to measure your HCG levels, or an ultrasound to make sure that all of the ‘matter’ has passed.Once all the matter is gone, and your beta HCG are back to 0 you should settle into a regular cycle again.Good Luck and try not to stress… I understand how hard that can be…HUGS!
