can extremely sore nipples be a sign of ovulation?

Q: I’m not sure when I ovulate (or if I do all the time) I have PCOS. I had a miscarriage last october. its normal for my boobs to swell a bit before I get my period, but I have never had sore nipples like this before. everything makes them hurt. A: When we ovulate we have a rise in progesterone. When this rises it causes our PMS symptoms (sore breasts, acne, backaches, whatever!) So yes, sore breasts is sort of like confirming you ovulated.

Q: I’m only about 5 weeks pregnant and not sure whether i have had a miscarriage or not. I have already had one in Oct last year and i had no signs of pain or bleeding and was only discovered when i went for my 12 week scan. Now i have found out i am pregnant again i am really paranoid about watching out for signs to see if its going to happen again. The last few days i have been having a small sharp pains which only lasts a second or 2 then dont seem to get them until the day after ? Is this a bad sign?? I havent had them for a couple of days though now, just maybe a slight feel of period pains but nothing bad.I didnt really get any help or answers for my last miscarriage, so i do not know what to expect?I am going to go to doctors about this tomorrow but thought i’d ask on here to see if anyone could help and hopefully put my mind at risk?? x

Q: im 5 weeks pregnant. friday night i started having this brown discharge ive been having it. but saturday it started getting light. then this morning i woke up and i had light bleeding, it was dark not bright red. so i went to the er. they gave me a pap. ive had a miscarriage in 07. but my 1st pregnancy with my son in 06 was fine. so whats going on. im having mid cramps like a period, and im having to wear a pad now but im not bleed as bad as my last miscarriage. so im really confused. what are the signs of a miscarriage and could i be having one???

A: Well, hate to say it but its very possible. I had a miscarriage and mine started like that. I know some women bleed during their pregnancies but, if you are bleeding more than you were when you went to the ER then you might consider calling or going back in..also make sure to call your doctor.
