Frequently during pregnancy a woman gets cramps during the time her period would normally be. If you start bleeding, then you will probably miscarry.

Cramping in early pregnancy?
Q: I am 8 weeks pregnant and have mild cramping. No bleeding or anything just wondering if this is normal. From what i’ve been reading some say its normal but others say its can be a sign of a miscarriage. I do notice the cramping is not very mild to what it has been a few days ago. I have also be diagnosed with endometrioses which has caused me alot of cramping in the past and wondering if that could be why i’m cramping more than normal now that i’m pregnantI did call my doctor yesturday and they didn’t seem concerned at all.
A: its normal..its the ligaments stretching to make room for ur baby.
Possible Miscarriage?
Q: I am 7 weeks pregnant. Last week I bled on and off for about 5 days, and sometimes when I bled I had mild cramping, other times I didn’t cramp at all. I didn’t bleed very heavily, but it was there. Today I noticed that I’m not nauseated, and my breast aren’t tender anymore. I know these are some signs of a miscarriage but I’m not sure.I went to my obgyn Wednesday and all he did was check for a heartbeat and push around on my stomach. We didn’t hear a heartbeat but he said that was probably because I wasn’t far enough along. He said that everything appeared ok, but I don’t see how he can tell without examining me to see if my cervix is closed. Has anyone else been through this and know what I’m talking about? All answers welcome.
A: This may not be a miscarriage because i had these same symptoms and have a 5 months old baby but your obgyn should maybe give you a scan to ease your mind on this symptoms that would maybe help you a long way. But within the early stages of pregnancy a person can bleed i know i bleed up to 3 months and i was very worried I got a scan and was told that the blood was on the outside of the sac so this eased my mind so much, hope eventually your mind can be at ease so that you can enjoy your pregnancy and good luck to you.
