Q: i have a lab who was due on the 17th of december. for the last 3 days she had been trembling especially her hind legs. she has not nested and seems to be losing weight at the breast area. the doctor assures us not to worry but he hasn’t seen her, only had telephonic conversations and something doesn’t feel right to us. she is in a lot of discomfort and can barely move except to go to the loo.okay…u guys scared the daylights out of me so i took her to the clinic the doctor was not in but had her sonography done and the puppies are all fine there are 8 of them(i saw them myself). i spoke to him and he said that since i also have a male dog( with who she mated) it is possible that the conception happened anywhere over a period of a week and a half and the date he gave me was tentative. we have another 3 days to wait and watch. theres no urgency nor and need to panic.
