- A: I don't know about the whole if your pregnant or not but if you are and you're having brown spotting then I know that it's usually a sign of implantation bleeding which is totally normal when you're pregnant. The best thing to do is to get it checked out.

- Q: Hi. I am currently 17W pregnant and SCARED. All was great in the 1st trimester but on Dec 20 I had 2 long brown clots..then nothing. 4 days later my DH started to have sex. Because I'm paranoid we stopped after 30 seconds and there was red blood. Since then I have had lite brown spotting (maybe a teaspoon?) once or twice a day, almost everyday. We saw the baby on an US on Dec 27 and all looked good. I have had no cramps or any other signs. I have been resting and there has been no sex since. MY DR says not to worry unless the blood is red (brown is old?) but two weeks seems excessive....also I'm getting paranoid because the book "what to expect" says several weeks of brown spotting is a sign of miscarriage....can anyone help? I'm scared!!
- A: i had the brown spotting all throughout my pregnancy. I went to the Dr on many diff't occasions about it and they could never find out why. I even had extra ultra sounds and they could not find anything wrong. My baby was born early but fine...maybe just contact your Dr and see if he can't see you more often just to make sure. Good luck!
