A: I too, have PCOS. I was diagnosed about 2 years ago. I was prescribed glucophage, took it for 3 weeks, and it made sick. Every single time. It is possible to lose weight, although very hard. I went on a sensible diet, counting calories (pain in the a** but it really does work). I tried to stay under 2000 a day. I also walked on the treadmill 30-45 every other day. I lost over 60lbs. But it was VERY slow to come off. It took almost a year. So don’t get discouraged. It is possible to conceive w/out the use of drugs. I have an 11 year old daughter who was born before I had PCOS. I also have a daughter who will be 18 months old on Christmas day. Unfortunately, I gained back all my weight and then some with this child, and I am still trying to get it off. I know it sounds silly, but you really must think of this as a lifestyle change, not just a diet. After a while, you will just know what you can and can’t eat. And it is okay to splurge every once in a while. But it is the only thing I have found that works, as I cannot take the meds. Best of luck to you!
Low IQ may prove fatal for your heart, says study If its true then can’t; VICE-VERSA also be true?
Q: According to the report given below; fro today’s newspaper; if; ( SMOKING / LOW IQ / LOW INCOME / HIGHER UPPER READING OF BP / LOW PHYSICAL ACTIVITY) are the predictors of heart disease; and death; then vice-versa; the actions and activities of the powers, strengths and abilities of a a healthy heart should in-effect be the cause of creation, development and construction of that ability or wisdom of self in self which can help, drive and motivate the self and others alike; not only to work hard; especially for quitting smoking; gaining high IQ; gaining higher income; lowering the upper reading of BP; and higher physical activity; but also to lead the self to gain the benefits of such hard work of self; as well.. 1) What then could be the actions and activities and the powers, strengths and abilities; which can improve the health, wealth and wisdom of the heart of self. 2) What could be source of them; and 3) What could be the knowledge, intelligence learning and education which can improve the condition of the heart of self. It obviously cannot be those of medicine and sciences as we know; because the heart of a child who is either yet to be born; or who is born and living; or who is growing and developing; is although not dependent on medicines or such sciences; but yet is healthy; and driving his body, mind and senses to work hard; not only for various reasons, objects and activities; but also for gaining the benefits of such hard work.. Could then; this source; knowledge, intelligence learning and education; actions and activities and powers, strengths and abilities; be spiritual in nature; born from certain religious practises; either followed by self or devoted to; by self. Low IQ may prove fatal for your heart, says study Sanchita Sharma [email protected] DELHI: IQ is the strongest predictor of heart disease, second only to smoking, reports a large study funded by Britain’s Medical Research Council.People with lower intelligence scores — as reflected by low results on written or oral tests of IQ — had higher rates of heart disease and death than all other risk factors except smoking, it found.According to the study, published in the European Journal of Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation, established risk factors, which include obesity and high cholesterol, were not part of the top five risk factors (see box).( SMOKING / LOW IQ / LOW INCOME / HIGHER UPPER READING OF BP / LOW PHYSICAL ACTIVITY )For the study, 1,145 men and women aged around 55. Data was collected for height, weight, blood pressure, smoking habits, physical activity, education and occupation, while IQ was assessed using a standard test of general intelligence.”IQ is not inherent and often indicates inequalities in social status, education and experience, which influence lifestyle choices. Our study of 19,973 people across 10 centres in India also linked higher education and income to lower cardiovascular risk,” said senior cardiologist Dr K. Srinath Reddy, president, Public Health Foundation, India. His study was published in the Proceedings of National Academy of Sciences 2007.Higher education and income — and now intelligence — are associated with healthy behaviour such as exercise and healthy diets, all of which lower risk factors such as obesity, high blood pressure and elevated blood cholesterol levels.”People with lower IQ are more likely to be less educated and poor with lower access to health promoting knowledge…This study underlines the need to fast-track health literacy, not just in urban areas but also in semi-urban areas and villages where lifestyle disorders such as heart disease and diabetes are rising faster than in urban centres,” said Dr Reddy.

Can u help me improve my english task?
Q: Hi i think i have finished but i just want to see your reaction to what i wrote. the task was to write an essay on cloning. Cloning The ways of the Devil Cloning is the devil’s way of playing God.In particular clones are the Devils dominions. Cloning will only cause the apocalypse. It will destroy natures most wonderful creatures. It will make ‘us’ the world protectors more lazy, and have the ability to over populate cities around the world, causing us to destroy more of natures beautiful wonder’s in a hope just to be able to have the dominions of the devil live among us. Playing God is evil. Cloning is exactly that, evil. As the bible states in the book of John, chapter 3, verse 5. ” Unless a man is born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”. Therefore if one cannot enter the ‘Kingdom of God’ then that must mean they are evil. Cloning will only cause the apocalypse. Just imagine a country full of clones and people living in harmony, then all of a sudden an evil scientist makes millions of clones of Hitler to fight against mankind under one banner,… the devil’s banner. This one act of ultimate evil is all it would take to rule and destroy the world. So what would happen to the human civilization? Would we then become the slaves of society and put into cells like the savages of Aldous Huxley’s ‘Brave New World’ ? Would we simply become insufficient to the new order of life and be massacred by the clones just as the Jews were in WW2. All power available to just one evil human. Who knows what could happen if their was a massive cluster of them… Cloning will make ‘us’, the protectors of the Earth, more lazy. This would have the capability to make the percentage of diabetes, high cholesterol, strokes and hart attacks double. This would cause millions if not billions of people around the world to start living unhealthy lifestyles and being diagnosed with more unhealthy and life threatening medical conditions.”Overall, adult obesity rates have doubled since 1980, from 15% to 30%, and two-thirds of U.S. adults are now considered overweight or obese. The national rate for diabetes in adults has grown from 5.2% in 1980 to more than 8% now, and one in three Americans has hypertension—often weight-related. The report estimates that the direct health-care costs of obesity exceed $61 billion annually. ” (http://www.businessweek.com/technology/content/aug2008/tc20080819_184833.htm No Magic Pill). If Obesity rates have rapidly doubled as much as mentioned above then just imagine how much more quickly they would rise when we start letting clones do our work. It would mean more people would just be sitting on the couch while their clones would be doing their work walking their pets and cleaning the house. Sounds like heaven when in fact its just hell buttering us up. Cloning also runs the risk of over populating cities. Supply and demand could become so high that it would exceed housing options. This would leave us with two choices. One, would be to cram more people into smaller spaces. Two, destroy gods other creatures homes in a hope to be able to grow more of the devils fruit. So, why would ‘we’ want to have the Devils Fruits growing in our back yard? Is it because ‘we’ see it as a must have novelty ? or do we like to have what we shouldn’t because it gives us the thrill of being naughty ? “God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?”(The Bible book of Genesis Chapter 3 verse 1) But what did Adam and Eve do they did what they shouldn’t becuase they were tricked by the Devil’s Snake. But the lord is ever forgiving and now he has giving us the same Test! But this time we must complete is corectly otherwise it my be the end…
A: You stress the same point over and over but you don’t use facts to back it up.”Cloning is the devil’s way of playing God” with statements like these you need to be able to back them up and give reasons (factual ones) as to why this statement is true. You gave a very good point in the beginning but over-shadowed it. “…have the ability to over populate cities around the world, causing us to destroy more of natures beautiful wonder’s” That’s one of the points you need to stress and back up explain how it will come about and what will be the consequences. Not just from a religious point of view but from a general point of view that everyone can understand. “Cloning will make ‘us’, the protectors of the Earth, more lazy.” In this paragraph you told the reader what would happen but its pure speculation without facts or reasons as to why you think it will happen. You mention the devil A LOT but without facts to back up your statements it makes your essay less believable and more paranoid than proving your point of view. From my perpective its too religious but maybe thats why you were going for. I’m Christian so my beliefs are mostly based on that but when I write a report of this nature I’ll write it so that everyone will understand and not write it off as religious paranoia. I suggest you do a rewrite and add more facts and tone down the devil’s playground theroy to one paragraph and use the others to explain the other ways it would affect humans and why. That and you need a thesis statement. If you added one I didn’t get it.I have to say though I do admire you conviction. I hope your able to find a good balance in this essay.Hope this helps.
