Q: monday night I went to the toilet and had horrible cramps. I thought I peed, but the toilet was FILLED with blood. I freaked, and flushed it. I went to the kitchen to make some food, and passed out. I had my period last month, but, I don’t know, did I have a miscarriage? I have a doctors appointment on Friday, will he be able to tell?

A: this is what happened to me when i had my miscarriage ,OK here goes…. i had to pee really really bad so my husband stops at this convenient store and i go to the restroom, while I’m peeing i notice there is so much blood coming out that i thought my bladder had burst and i started getting really light headed and i couldn’t focus so i stumble to the sink splash my face with water to try and keep my conscience, and all i can remember next is stumbling out of the restroom bumping in to a shelf and waking up to some guy asking me if i was alright, apparently i had fainted, so my husband comes from the other side of the store picks me up and carries me to the car and rushes me to the ER, and there they had done a pregnancy test and confirmed all in 5 minutes that i was pregnant and lost the baby. i didn’t even know i was pregnant, i thought i was going to die because “i held my pee too long and my bladder busted” it was the most terrifying experience i ever had, my regular doc’s office was closed because it was a Saturday, and for some reason the ER didn’t preform a D&C so the next day while i was walking up the steps to my house i felt the amniotic sac slip out followed by alot of flesh like clots. but that monday at my doc’s office they once again confirmed the inevitable……… i dont know if this helps any i just though it was wierd how you were using the bathroom and noticed alot of blood and passed out just like i did, also you do need to get checked out because if you have had a loss the doctors have to make sure your body expells all of the pregnancy “stuff” so your horimones come back down to normal and plus if you dont pass all of the old uterin lining and aminotic sac it can cause an infection

A: In most cases you would have severe cramping and bright red bleeding. (pink or brown spotting can be normal in the first trimester) But in some cases, you won’t know at all. I had a missed miscarriage at the end of April. I went in for my 10 week check-up and they had found that my baby had stopped growing at 8 weeks.
