Question about ovulation after a miscarriage?
Q: Is it likely to have ovulated 9 days after a miscarriage? When did you ovulate after a miscarriage and how soon did you become pregnant. Was it a healthy pregnancy? What were your pregnancy signs? I know what they are, but just wondering if there was anything different since the pregnancy occured so soon after a miscarriage. My hcg never got above 200, so I was only 3-4 weeks. I had a miscarriage 1 week after finding out.
A: hi there so sorry to hear of your loss. i miscarried to at 5 weeks…very early and no d&c it all came away naturally. i was religiously checking for ovulation straight after, and i ovulated on day 14 of my next cycle. i think being an early miscarriage like yours and mine its less traumatic on the body so it returns to normal slightly quicker than some one who had lost at say 10 weeks. i heard that you are more fertile after a miscarriage so had very high hopes in catching the next month but got af. that was 6th oct this year so desperately hoping for some good news early nov and hope my af doesnt arrive. good luck xx
How soon after miscarriage can you get pregnant?
Q: Ok – so here is my story. My fiance’ and I had been trying to conceive since September of 2009. We found out on March 7th that I was indeed pregnant – finally! We were both so happy. Went in on April 1, 2010 for ultrasound and we seen our sweet baby and heard his/her heartbeat. Then 7 days later I began bleeding heavily and went to the doctor the next day (April 9) and there was no heartbeat 🙁 So today is exactly a month since the miscarriage happened. With it being Mother’s Day it made it a little tough – not to mention my friend had a little boy today. My fiance’ and I haven’t even thought about trying again yet, but for about 2 days now my boobs have been sore and I have been more tired, peeing more, stomach cramps, and have a slight cold. One of my friends asked me today about when we were going to try again and asked how I’d been feeling and then I started realizing how I was feeling – and that’s exactly how I felt the last time I found out I was pregnant. Now with this all in my mind I have a little bit of hope again – which I know probably isn’t good – but hey I was ready for my baby.I was reading online some that ladies got pregnant a week after their miscarriage. Rare I’m sure – but possible. How long did it take some of you to conceive again? Were your symptoms the same?
A: my daughter had a miscarriage in october and has been trying to conceive since but cant she has endometreosis..and if she dont soon the doctor said she may never..and she is so afraid..she had the same symptoms as you when she found out she was pregnant..i got pregnant as soon as three weeks after my miscarry..i dont think there is a time set everyone is different..but congradulations if you are just wish my daughter could be that lucky..
Pains 2 1/2 weeks after miscarriage – can anyone advise?
Q: I had a miscarriage that began very suddenly and quickly on Friday, May 15th 2009. At my doctors appointment on Monday, May 18th, I was advised that I would more than likely not need a D & C as this was moving rapidly and appeared that I would be okay with a natural miscarriage as long as it was ok with me – which it was as a D & C was not something I wanted to consider. I have Hypothyroidism which is in the early stages of treatment and my THS levels are still very high, which is what was suggested as the cause of this horrible event.Everything seemed to subside (pain, bleeding etc.,) by Thursday, May 21, although I was still quite weak and a little crampy and uncomfortable. Skip to today, Thursday, June 4th….I am showing no signs of infection, no bleeding, nausea, fever, discharge etc,. but I am starting to feel some discomfort from deep inside my pelvic area (ovaries more than likely). No severe cramps but a dull ache on either side that seems to shift from side to side and occasionally is felt on both sides simultaneously. I have slight lower back pain but nothing to run to the doctor about yet….My question is aimed at anyone who has experienced this terrible event and I would like to know if this is normal and how long it actually takes for all the aches to dissipate completely.I have read online that this pain could be the fact that I am ovulating, or that my body is trying to expel any left over tissue from the miscarriage.. Just for the record, when I started feeling better last week, I started working in my garden and think I may have over-done it as I haven’t felt great since….Each website I look at tells me different things about this experience and I need to hear from someone who has experienced this. Thanks and I hope to hear from you soon 🙂
A: Sorry for your loss. I’ve had 3 miscarriages and only had pain a day after everything came out. You might have over did it working in the garden cuz I just was lazy for like 2 weeks didn’t feel like doing anything but sleeping to forget about it. You might want to call your doctor just to make sure that’s normal cuz sometimes half of it comes out and the other parts don’t. If thats the case you’ll have to have a D&C which is way better anyway. I did 2 of them naturally and the last had to do a D&C. They can also give you pain killers if it gets to bad.
