- A: The answer to number 2 is C) the left atrioventricular valve (AV)The first post says the left atrium (LA)...which is true...but the answer you're looking for is left AV valve (also called mitral or bicuspid valve) since it must immediately go through this after the LAI'm pretty sure (really confident) the answer to the first question is correct according to first post (C)

From the right ventricle it is pumped into the pulmonary artery. This is where carbon dioxide is exhaled and oxygen absorbed. The oxygenated blood is carried from the lungs via the pulmonary veins into the left atrium of the heart. The blood passes through the left atrioventricular or bicuspid valve into the left ventricle. The blood is then pumped through the left-semi – lunar valve into the largest artery in the body, the aorta.
