Q: I had an early miscarriage, well, still am, bleeding started yesterday morning and is still going.I am extremely upset but have decided that i’m not going to stop trying, i want to try again.I’m 23 and this is my first miscarriage. I don’t know what i did to make me m/c, i don’t drink alcohol, i have never done drugs in my life, i’m a full time student and work in a jewellers also part time so i have no idea why i lost the baby. When will my boyfriend and i be able to start TTC again? Do i have to wait until i have another period or shall i wait and see if i ovulate in a couple of weeks time?Thank you
A: Many couples struggle with the question of when to try again after a miscarriage or other pregnancy loss. Some people want to go ahead and get pregnant again right away (or immediately after waiting the length of time recommended by a doctor). Others view the idea of trying to conceive again with considerable trepidation, fearing the heartbreak of another loss.Doctors say to wait 1 to 3 cycles before trying to get pregnant again after having had a miscarriage recently.I say the same to wait 1-3 cycles. Good luck!
What shall I do?, am in such a stuck situation right now and dont want to be!?
Q: I met my ex last year and it was a fast moving relationship with both of us having deep feelings for one another, so much he gave up his appartment up in London and moved to where I lived be to be closer to me. Ok I did say at the time I wanted him to be sure about his decision because it was not only his home but also his job he was given up but he wanted it more than ever.Weeks after he moved here I realised why!, he really wanted to find contentment and security but had mental health issue that soon surfaced. I felt like I was always trying to make him happy and tip toeing around his moods. Truth was I learned he had actually been homeless throughout life, had many failed relationship and was taking cannabis regular slyly without me knowing till I caught him (totally different to the man I fell for, the truth was coming out). His moods exploded regular and I was desperately unhappy but felt stuck. His constant drinking was getting to me because with that and the drug use he would become a monster, the last was when he robbed my car whilst he was drunk and the police became involved, he was locked up in Jail for 4 weeks. This gave me the time to get myself together and be strong for when he was released. He was released last Friday and I had made it very clear that although I cared for him I was unable to be in a relationship with him because I have to care for me and plus I have many other commitments and my graduation to stay focused on (It took me a long time to get this attitude believe me, because I felt guilty that I should remain as supportive as ever to him).I did give him what I felt was support but without any hope of me and him remaining together, I helped him move into a place and collected him from prison ect but now I feel I need to cut all contact with him, he is drinking alcohol everyday/night since getting out and I know he needs professional help and my help is not going to help me or him. He is now testing other drugs and he just looks terrible and I believe he has hit rock bottom.I last seen him yday as I dropped the last of his stuff off, to me that is it for me now, there is no need for contact because he is a fully grown up adult but now he is calling and txting me….I have so far not txted him back or spoke with him. Part of me feels like I am just another person that has rejected him for his life style and behaviour and that makes me feel like crap but I know I need to take care of me. Do you think I am doing the right thing?. what more can I do, I am totally fed up, I am not a baby sitter nor am I the answer to all his life problems yet he has no one but new drug/drink friends. His family live in Ireland and his Mother was upset over him behaving in the way he did with me because she truely believed that he was now on the road to being settled and content. We lost a baby a few months ago, I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks into the pregnancy and his niece was killed in a car accident a few days later, so taking all of this into account it has been a living nightmare for us both but maybe I have just dealt with my hurt in a different way. What do you think?
A: Your miscarriage was a sign from Heaven. You must leave him. Stay away from that person, but do not get angry at him. He is mentally handicapped. You deserve to have a better spouse to take care of.
Did I have a miscarriage?
Q: I thought I was pregnant because of symptoms about a month or two ago. I thought I was a few days before New Years’ Eve, and I ended up drinking a lot, enough to get drunk. (I know, irresponsible, but I wasn’t thinking.) I hadn’t had much confidence in me being pregnant, but my boyfriend wanted me to take a test to make sure. So I did, but it didn’t work the way it was supposed to, it got messed up, and said I was negative, but the sign to tell you the test was working didn’t show up until after the – sign showed up, and the – sign showed up IMMEDIATELY. So it didn’t work. But I end up having the strongest feeling I am about a week later. I can’t explain it…it was like an instinct. I had even had nausea and other symptoms the whole time. And my period ended up being like 2 weeks late (never been that late before) and was extremely irregular by the time I did get it. Usually I have it for 7 days, but this time it only lasted 3 days. That’s never happened before. I heard 25% of all pregnancies are miscarried. Can anyone tell me if I had one or not? And could the alcohol have killed it? I’m 16, if my age matters any.
A: age doesnt matter but you know the best thing for you t do is see a doctor miscarraige or not it will ease your mind so if you are it wont stress the baby , and drinking can cause huge birth diffects to the baby not the best thing to have done if you want a healthy baby , my advice use protection and you wont have to wonder as for your period sometimes stress can change it or it changes natually , but like i said see a doctor if your scared about parents go to a heath dept and the will give you a blood test for free no questions asked , good luck and be safe
