- A: Hi There,I too have thin hair and it used to be oily. But I read you can 'train' your hair to be so oily by extending the wash cycle. If you wash daily change to every second day where you can. Eventually you will be able to do every second day no problems. Washing removes oil from the hair (you know tht as hat is why you are wahing so much now) but the bodies response to this is to produce more oil. This is why getting to stage where you wash less works as the body makes less oil. I now wash my ahir twice a week.Tho other thin you can do is invest in a natural bristle hair brush. Artificial (eg plastic) bristles break the hair and make it thinner. Natural bristles, not only cause less breakage but move oil from the scalp down the hair shafts which protect them.Never brush wet hair. Use a comb or fingers. Wet hair is weak hair and can't take much stress.The other thing you can do is eat a diet full of fresh fruit and veggies this gives you body all the vitamins and minerals it needs to grow your hair.All this will never give you thick hair ( least it didnt for me) but has given me hair with some body and life and so I feel better about it.Hope that helps. It wont work overnight but it will happen!

- Q: I got my hair permanently/chemically straightened, so I started using "Tresemme Anti-Breakage Conditioner" to help my hair heal.
