Q: I just started wearing eye makeup and I’m not sure how to do the eyeshadow and eyeliner. So could you give me some tips? Thanks! 🙂
A: You’ll want to start with the liner first. Dont apply in one stright line, or, if you do, take a q-tip and smudge it across. Next, for a day-time look, use a light shade on your eye lid, next take a darker shade and use it in the crease. Always blend everything. You can also use a translucent white in the inner corner of your eye and right under your eyebrown to reflect the light.xoxo

Q: I have been wearing eye liner for a while, and am getting a little tired of putting it on every day. Are there any ways to still make my eyes look bearable without using eyeliner so often? I have short, thin eyelashes and it seems like when i put just mascara on they look like sticks and clump together too much. I am going for just a natural look.
A: In addition to the eyebrow brush suggestion, try scraping the length of the brush (all the way to the end of the bristles) along the edge of the mascara container, as you pull it out. This should get rid of some of the excess mascara, which tends to collect in the brush–but be sure not to pump it in and out of the container, because this will cause air to get trapped inside, thereby oxidizing the liquid, and making it even MORE clumpy.Rather than eyeliner (which I have a hard time with as well, by the way), why not try wearing eyeshadow? Eyeshadow can have a much more effective, naural-looking result than liner, but only if it’s done right. What I often do is, using an eyeshadow brush (NOT the latex wands, which come in many of today’s compacts), I lightly dust the bristles in a soft brown shadow. I then apply the shadow along the crease of my eyelids, and finish the job by applying a very light, even slightly shimmery pink/ mauve to the space left above and below the brown. Next, I curl my eyelashes, and finally, I apply the mascara ( be careful not to set the wand too close to the roots of your eyelashes, either). The effect should make your eyes pop out, but without the obvious appearance of makeup. If that’s the look your after, I suggest you give this tip a try! = )

Q: I want to wear green eyeshadow tonight. I have brown eyes so I think it will look alright. How do I do it without looking like a clown?
A: first of all never put too much of make up… if u wanna wear green eye shadow that’s oeperfectly alright but since we do not know ur tan color u should be really careful with the amount of it and of course the shade u are outting on… if u can try putting some foundation first that shoud give u a smooth face and if u use one of those tanning foundaations it will look u more tanned so green would shine a lot better… first put some green right at the very end of the lid then apply a slightly darker shade on the rest of the lid but do not exaggurate.. if u like u can apply some under ur eyes too but only a little line… then use some eyeliner both on top and bottom of ur eye lashes and use some black mascara to finish it off.. and last but not least if u prefer u can apply a light rose kind of shade to ur cheeks just for a cutier look!!! hope this helps…:o)
