Mine was 30 euros. I would definitely recommend getting it done with a needle rather than with a gun. The gun will shatter the cartilage and it will be hard to heal. I got my first one done with a gun and two years on it still hadn’t healed…

A: No Do NOT get a cartilage piercing with a gun! BAD. Can shatter the cartilage and lead to prolonged healing and cause scar tissue which might need to be surgically removed. Plus like said before a piercing gun is not clean. You are asking for an infection. Cartilage is not like getting a normal lobe piercing. It will take 3-9 months to heal and you will have to wash it with antibacterial soap/provon and/or sea salt water 2-3 times a day to avoid infection. You will also not be able to sleep on the side your piercing is on and you should never talk on the phone on that side since your phone carries all sorts of bacteria. If you want your cartilage pierced you need to go to a tattoo/piercing parlor with your mom. They are much more sanitary and use a hollow needle which takes some cartilage out instead of just pushing it out of the way. Trust me on this. A: i just got that done about nine weeks ago, to the day.where i got it done, the piercing is free, but you are basically paying for the earrings. since it is in the cartilage, which can get infected easily, i suggest buying a pair that is not extremely cheap. but don’t go for the most expensive earrings either, because most people take the piercing earring out after 10 to 12 weeks.so, the pair of earrings i picked was around 25 dollars. i then had to pay a 2 dollar separation fee because i was only getting one ear pierced, so they throw away the other earring. also, there was a 2 dollar cartilage fee, because cartilage piercings are more prone to infection. all in all, the total came up to a little over 30 dollars.if you take care of it well (and i skipped a few nights of cleaning it too), there shouldn’t be any problem and before long you’ll forget it’s even there. the first two weeks can be a little painful though, and don’t freak out if there’s swelling. mine swelled up for two days, and then it was fine. and leave the piercing earring in for more than 8 weeks, so that the hole doesn’t close up when you try to change it.
