Q: I hear you can bleach hair with hydrogen peroxide. I don’t feel like spending $20 on a box when I’m bleaching just a small portion and I can use something so cheap. How might I go about it?
A: I would not even try and bleach my hair myself! The darker your hair is, especially. I almost always see my friends’ hair turn orange. And fried! If you want your hair to be lighter, I would suggest you go to a salon and have it professionally done! If you still want to save the bucks and do it yourself, go to Sally Beauty Supply and ask one of the people there a good way to do it. They are pretty helpful.

Q: Ive been using Clearasil to prevent spots, and it contains hydrogen peroxide, which is used to bleach hair. My hair is beginning to bleach, and if I stop using Clearasil, ill get loads of spots.
A: Hi I’m a cosmetologist. okay first of all you probably already know this but bleach removes color… therefore you cant remove it from your hair the only thing that I would recommend is hair color the places back to your natural color. and also is it bleaching the hair on your head or facial hair? if its the hair on your head I would recommend putting a towel over your hair when you wash your face and make sure you are rinsing the product off really good. Maybe this will help you.
